General Motors GM Genuine Parts D1954F Ebony Door Window Switch

Was not %100 sure on this part. But after being cheap for too many years, I bought this to replace the oem switch in my 2008 2500 LTFit perfect, works perfect.

Factorys replacement part, simple plug and play. Part was replaced in less than 15 minutes, now all my windows work as they should.

It fit well

Works and fit like a charm on my 2011 Silverado LT, the greenish back lights are a perfect color match to the factory backlighting and all 4 switches work as they should. It took about 20 minutes to install by removing the silver insert from the handle by starting at the bottom and then prying it out working my way toward the top and then removing 2, 10mm bolts at the top and bottom of the handle. Then with my pry tool, I just pryed straight up on the entire piece that the switches mount into and I unplugged the power door lock switch and could then turn the assembly over making access to the clips that hold the window switch in place very easy. I pried out the four clips that hold the window switches in place and removed the old window switches and then just popped the new window switches in, plugged the door lock switch back in and popped the switch mounting panel back in the door panel, and reinstalled the door panel handle.

Gave it 4 stars because when I received it one of the switches was kicked off to the side, I had to force it to snap it back into place and it was shipped that way there was no damage to the package but other than that it works perfectly, on my model it was plug and play no programming necessary but if you have heated seats, power seats and all that fluffy stuff you will have to take it to the dealership and have it programmed to the vehicle

My drivers side control would not work the passenger side window. This fixed it. If you have similar issue where a window will work at the door, but not from the drivers door, this will likely fix it. From the other reviews, it appears to be a common problem. The video on installation (Utube) showed you taking a screwdriver, or I would use plastic, prybar to remove the cover on the door handle. Unscrew the 2 10mm bolts and remove. Pry up the pad containing the swithches from the front of the pad (toward engine). The video showed taking the whole switch out. I did not do this as it was easier to unclip (by squeezing) the two wire connectors and then spreading the sides of the housing (two clips on each side) to remove just the problem part. Snap it back in and you're done. I can see why some of the reviewers said that you can just clean the contacts and the switches will work again. It's really easy enough to get out. I could have also bought a GM knockoff for half the price, but I only wanted to fix this once. I could see buying the knockoff, as it was REALLY easy to replace. Now I can control all my windows and peace has returned to the valley. I was really worried that I would have to take off the door panel, but this was great.

Works like it should

Very simple to install. My passenger window was not going up or down, the passenger side button would work at times, but the driver side would interfere and not let it work. Took about 10 mins total between getting the handle off and snapping out the old one. Dealer said programming required, but it worked right away without having to take it to a dealer. Saved me some money!

My windows in our 2007 Silverado have been acting up for a long time. I Recieved the master controll quickly and installed it in ten minutes and the windows work perfectly again. I am very happy it was so easy to replace and worked as well as it did.

Excellent product acdelco original part perfect fit works great arrived ahead of delevery date installed my self its just snap out and snap in do it yourself very easy with this part 3 min to install and all my window work perfect an exact fit will buy again if needed
