My favorite harissa paste, a little goes a long way
I love this stuff.I keep it in the fridge at all times and only need about half a teaspoon per serving to add a lot of zest to whatever I’m cooking.I find the complex, warm heat from this blend goes well with many different cuisines. If you’re skeptical, try it with eggs, add it to anything you might typically season with hot sauce, though I have not tried it with Asian dishes, as I still prefer Sriracha for those.

Good Stuff. Smart Packaging.
In truth, this is the only Harissa paste I've ever bought and used. I do, however, know a thing or two about dried chiles, garlic and spices, and this tastes very good. I'd give it a 7 on the hot scale of 1 -10. I used this in Lablabi, a North African chickpea and harissa soup. But other versions of harissa aside, what I like most about these 120 gr. tubes of harissa paste is that there's a good chance it won't go bad on you. Doesn't matter what you do with an open jar of any kind of paste, salsa or sauce - after 3 weeks to a month, even in a 35° refrigerator, the product will not be good to eat. As long as these tubes remain sealed (unopened) they will last a long time, refrigerated or not. 120 grams is not a whole lot of harissa paste, so you'll use it all up when it's fresh and unspoiled, and your other tubes remain sealed and fresh.

Great flavor but delivery method sucks
This is the best harissa hot sauce I've found so far... most I've tried are not spicy at all, or taste like they're just a regular vinegar-based hot sauce that's been rebranded. This has some real spice to it... nothing crazy, but it's enough to warm up a gyro with a teaspoon or so. If you're like me and were looking for something like the NYC Halal Guys hot sauce, this is not nearly as spicy, but really similar flavor profile. I keep it stocked in the house always for mediterranean/Middle-Eastern/North African food. Only complaint is the metal tube (like toothpaste) kind of sucks for delivery. I've had 2 tubes burst while trying to squeeze them.

True Harissa Strength and Taste
This is the real deal, flavor straight out of the Mediterranean North Africa. Delighted to find Dea here in The States. The screw cap tube container is very practical facilitating longer term storage as opposed to an open can.CEK

A different type of spicing
Could be a bit hotter but a unique, delightful flavor.

Excellent product, above-average seller care
I am new to harissa, used this paste as primary seasoning for a lamb stew made with lamb necks. Delicious even though I was guessing much of the time during preparation. An excellent product, purchased it on a guess, turned out to be a really good decision, both product tubes arrived in perfect shape.. in perfect shape. The third party seller devised the best mailing package I’ve received for Amazon product offers, and I’ve bought whole lot over many years . Amazon should send them a commendation.

ESSENTIAL--mild heat, powerful flavor
Remember when Bon Appetit used to ask various luminaries what five things were always in their fridge? They never got to me, oddly enough, but this is one of mine. In fact, I always have two tubes because the thought of running out gives me the sweats.I use it liberally and constantly, and not just on middle eastern food. It's great in anything where you want some heat. I find it a much more pure expression of pepper than Sriracha. Scrambled eggs, Bloody Marys, pimento cheese, you name it. I've even thrown a couple of tablespoons into a bag of Cheetos and shaken it up. Try it and you'll come up with a thousand uses of your own.

The best harissa
We use this very extensively with our cooking. YOu can get this in other types of flavors and containers but this is the most authentic and we do know our harissa.
