Works well. Convenient emptying bin. Does not fill quickly because of the small pieces.Quiet. Would purchase again. I have now had this shredder for over 7 months. It suddenly quit shredding. I thought it might be overheated, but went through the routine for that and it still would not run. I called into the company-Intek. The Customer Service Rep was very kind and helpful. The company sent me a replacement - a different Sentinel Model. I didn't like it as much, but it worked fine. I received it on 2-20-21. A few days ago 4-31-2021, it quit working after I put a lubricating sheet through it. It will only run in reverse, so I cannot shred anything. I am awaiting a response from customer service. Will update my review.

This little shredder checked all my boxes when i was shopping them, after receiving i realized what a sh*tty shredder it really is. The sensor to detect the paper to turn on in auto mode seems to have a mind of its own cuz it doesnt always turn on to shred. If you do manage to get it going or just keep it own (if you have a stack to shred) you will only get about 5 mins of shredding done before it overheats & shuts off, which then it takes about an hour for it to cool down enough & start working again. Bottom line i will be returning this shredder & i would recommend anyone else NOT purchase it!! It is also a safety concern to me with the overheating after only about 5 mins of use.

Using it in my home office and it does a great job and cuts the paper very fine compared to my old one.

It’s smaller than I thought. But it works amazing and shreds it to small tiny squares which I love.

There is a broken piece of plastic on the top corner of the pullout drawer. It should not affect its ability to do its job, but it does mar its look. As it sits in my living room, that is an issue. Due to the cost of the item, the Covid quarantine where I live, and my lack of transportation, I do not intend to return it. Just color me disappointed. As much as I buy from Amazon, I have had only 2 other items that were broken upon receipt.I am not sure what is meant by thickness unless it refers to the number of pages that can be shredded at one time. If that is the case, 6 pages are not very many, but in this case, you get what you pay for. I wanted one that did micro-shredding, so I compromised on thickness & on how long it is able to shred before it gets hot.Time will tell if this is a wise decision.

It fills up fast, but it really chops the paper into tiny bits. Great for shredding pharmacy info and anything with your information. Make sure you tape the bottom of the shredder, below the basket before use. Otherwise you'll have shredded paper everywhere.

Barely handles the ‘6 sheet capacity’ and overheats with minimal amount of shredding completed. Only positive is the small size for easy storage when not in use. Jams with just 3-4 sheets of paper, and now stuck. If there was a negative star option, this would be it.
