Good tool that is well made. The case is a plus that will protect the tool and the loose tool parts that came with it. This tool clamps down on the slide well and applies the pressure to the side of the sights. The plastic sights come out with ease. Putting metal sights in requires a considerable amount of force. This tool delivered it. I found that it is best to push the sights in from left to right as the tool is viewed in this picture. The tool comes with two sets of polymer slide clamp shoes, a polymer spacer block and a sight screw nut driver. All fit nicely in the case. The tool can be screwed or clamped to a bench or it can be used in a vise. The drive nut can be turned with the "T" handle that it comes with or you can use a socket or a wrench.

This tool was exactly what I wanted. It will work on handgun autoloader slides and even rifles if they fit inside the arbor. With 5 minutes of receiving my sight pusher tool, I was adjusting the rear Trijicon sight on my Shadow Systems slide. Heck, this tool is so intuitive, that you don't need to read the directions, or at least I didn't. After the sight was in the slide, I then used the tool to put a new rear sight on an WInchester 63 rifle, and it worked great.If you do any amount of gunsmithing, you should consider this tool. It does not mar the sights like tapping them with a hammer and punch will. But, shop around. The day mine arrived, I noticed that Optics Planet had them for $38 and free shipping.

This works perfectly for what it's intended for (removing/installing rear pistol sights) and was a great value compared to other similar products. Wish the front sight tool was a little longer but it gets the job done as well. Follow the instructions, lubricate the gears and work the mechanism and you'll be fine. Used it on multiple Glocks and with suppressor height sights which it handled just fine. Shop wanted $30 per gun to install sights, now I have my own tool, saved money and the trips back and forth to the shop.

It worked like a charm with the Trijicon HD night sights with no filing needed, took about 10 minutes total time. I do recommend oiling the screws on the sight pusher really good with some rem oil or something similar as they did seem a little bit tight at first but not to bad. I did use the plastic bumpers but also used thin strips of cardboard for extra protection around the slide. Well worth the money, rather then taking it to a gun shop.

This thing is amazing! I noticed they are no longer available so I am so happy that I was able to get one while I could. I was shocked at the price at this and jumped at buying it. I swapped out sights the day I got it like changing a pair of shoes. I put a little bit of oil on all of the threads and it works like butter. I didn't even have to bolt the thing down to my workbench. This thing is truly an amazing buy and a really great product. If you're on the fence about it, take my word for it and take the plunge.

I ordered some hybrid sights to replace the factory sights on my Glock 19 Gen 4. I'll admit I was nervous about doing it since I hadn't done it before. Once I got going it was ridiculously easy. It literally is as simple as lining up the slide using the openings in the sides. Twisting the Main handle to push the rear site out, line up the new site, twist said handle in opposite direction ensuring that the measurement grooves on the tool line up (you'll see). The only difficulty I had was not with the tool but with USPS being a little derpy and sending the package to four different locations in Portland, OR before sending it on to my town, I did receive the package on time still, it just seemed a little silly.

I am no gunsmith, but for replacing sights on my polymer gun it worked without any problems. It's nice to have the various attachments for other sights as well. Watch a couple of YouTube how-to videos before you use it to make sure everything is lined up properly. Go slow and watch what is happening to check your work. Pretty simple stuff. Keep it handy in your range bag in case you need to make some other minor adjustments after install.

I was totally impressed with the thought put into this tool. It is solidly built, and the adjustments worked perfectly on my G42. I used it for the first time last night, and it took away the worry of damaging my pistol or sights. Both the new, and old sights came through unscathed so you can even decide to switch back to the stock ones if you want. The case fitted to the tool and accessories was a nice touch. Keeps things organized for future use.
