Kingfisher Readers L1: Jobs People Do

As an elementary school librarian, I am always on the lookout for books that are on subjects that we teach every year. Our younger students learn about community helpers, and I have many individual books on doctors, teachers, police officers, and other helpers. But this level 1 reader meets students at their point of vocabulary and interest, with Kingfisher's signature photo spreads offering a compelling, familiar setting appropriate for each career. It's destined to be a title that my Kindergarten teachers go to each year.
