Animal Doodles (Usborne Activity Cards)

My 5 year old daughter really enjoys these, and the confidence building activities keep her occupied with little help from me, other than sometimes helping her read the directions. Another thing that's great about it is that the activities inside help develop the fine motor skills necessary for writing. It comes with a small dry-erase marker that fits in the box, but its fun to buy colored dry erase markers to use with it too. I also suggest punching holes in the upper corner of all the cards and putting them on a notebook ring (found one at Staples) to keep them together. Awesome purchase. Monster Doodles is equally fun too.

This set of cards is just FANTASTIC! We have a creative child who loves to draw, but I think these cards would be a great gift for any child really. It includes 50 two-sided cards, so 100 different scenes that the child can just be creative with, or follow the simple directions to create something unique. The cards are thick and durable, although the dry erase pen this set comes with is cheap and doesn't work wonderfully, but nicer brands are easily picked up and used instead.I love this card set because it encourages creativity and helps children to learn to follow directions while still using their imagination and creating something unique. The cards are all different, like drawing shoes on a caterpillar, or finishing 1/2 of a penguin drawing, or studying a drawing of a whale before turning the card over and trying to draw a similar one by memory. Each of the 100 sides of the 50 cards is original and fun.I love "toys" like this that a child can spend endless hours on, much better than some of these silly gimmicks we see in commercials that only entertain modern children for 5 minutes before they move on. We love this set, and it comes highly recommended by this mom of three!If you're looking for a gift, especially, look no further. We love it, you will too.

Amazing cards, but shouldn’t be more than $10. I recommend going through an Usborne consultant, or local store. Check pictures for proof of cost.

This is a great product. It provides hours of engrossing entertainment. There are 100 pictures (50 cards printed front and back) that provide a starting point for creative doodling. A dry erase pen is included. This is perfect for travel or taking along anywhere where sitting quietly for long periods is required. It's even often educational but we mostly like it b/c it's great fun!
