Excellent shipping time, packaging was minimal but mostly undamaged. There was some damage to the box but it was expected as this battery is very heavy, probably 40 pounds. All the hardware is included with the battery to hook it up. There is no fluid level port as this is a maintenance free batter. If your backup sump has a level sensor you just need to hook the level probe to the positive terminal. Battery was mostly charged upon arrival. I hooked it up and ran about a dozen 40 sec. cycles on it before hooking it up to the charger.

After continued beeping indicating a battery connection error (the reason I purchased this to replace the lead/acid battery that was doing the same), I learned my unit (the "old 2400 Pro", with the grey reset button) does not work with maintenance-free batteries, despite this being the sealed battery I was told would work with this unit when I called for support for the incessant beeping. So now I either have to replace this battery with another lead/acid to test it (and hope it works), or replace the entire back up sump pump electronic system.The beeping has gotten so frequent, that the family members are in open revolt, and refusing to walk down to the sump pump well, and push the reset button. The battery is likely fine, the guidance on which battery to use was wrong. Disappointed.

Battery was delivered as expected, and is great condition. At 66lbs, the free shipping option make a huge difference in the cost.I bought this maintenance-free battery to replace the standard acid filled that came with my PHCC pump. Works great and was easy to install.

The battery came promptly. It arrived in a very large box with absolutely NO packing material. The battery was leaking acid that ate through the small battery box and partially through the large shipping box. Grateful that Amazon gave us a prompt refund. Now we have to find a way to dispose of this leaky battery.

The battery is very clean and easy to install. However, it has been just over 1 year and it is not working properly and needs to be replaced.

I installed this battery a few weeks ago and it seemed well-built. It came fully charged so my back-up sump system was ready to go after the install. Only issue I had was that one of the terminals was bent during shipping. This position would not allow the cable bolt to be inserted. I was able to use a large adjustable wrench to bend the terminal back. This was a little scary because I heard some subtle cracking noises while bending it back but all ended well.

Missing assembly parts so trying to track down metric sized washers & nuts. But good value for a battery, no problem with packaging or acid leakage
