This Fellowes Powershred 76Ct 16-Sheet Cross-Cut Heavy Duty Paper Shredder with Jam Buster is just what I wanted and needed to replace a 10 year old Fellows shredder that finally died. The sound is quieter, it shreds more sheets at once, and it takes less time to cool down when it overheats. So it's an upgrade from my last one!

I learned a valuable lesson. I had one previously and never used the oil to keep the blades oiled. Well, it stopped working one day. I bought another, since I use it so much and it works so great, only this time, I use oil. The instructions said to oil the blades every time you empty a full container of shredded paper. These are very important instructions. Make sure you buy the oil and use it.

Needed to upgrade our old lame office shredder. Much needed upgrade This one isn't exactly quiet, but it gets the job done. Makes your normal shredder noise, but nothing unbearable. Our old one made a nasty noise when shredding the paper, but not with this one. I also like the removable tray and how high it sits. No bending over.

Item is sufficient. I've had better. It will work for now but will be replaced in the future with a different manufacturer and product. This is the second Fellows shredder I've had. This first one was poor also. The shred bin is too small, the shredder is loud, and the shred size is larger than other products. Would not recommend purchasing.

This is the best shredder I've ever had. I shred a moderate amount in my office and I've burned through about 4 in 13 years. I have a feeling this one will last the longest. Extremely easy to use. I try not to shred more than 8 pages at a time and usually do 6 at a time. Zero problems

I feed this thing all my amazon boxes and all our papers and it eats it all . I have been oiling it which I think is partly the key to it's longevity. I tried to feed it a 1/4 in of paper it couldnt make it through that or the paper clip. Other than that the bin can get a little funky when you got o put it back in but it is quality. No question good value.

I have an older model at the office and over the past three years, I have not had a problem with paper jams or anything else. I purchased another one for my home. I am glad I did. It is very helpful when shredding junk mail.
