Works great for Casio watch
This is great for big wrists. I did not need to adjust anything other than to just install on my watch in under 5 minutes. You will only need a small tiny precision flat-head screw driver to press down the spring mechanism on the metal bars to install on a watch. The matte finish looks great with my casio black resin watch. The black paint did scratch off just a little during installation in the part where my screwdriver brushed against it.The expanding mechanism can pinch arm hair, but this is not much of an issue after it is put in place on the arm.I like that the under-side part (touching the arm) of the watch band had only chrome metal and no black paint. The dimple pattern where the band connects to the watch looks great, but the squared circle pattern on the expanding part of the watch has a monotonous and boring aesthetic. My wrist does get sweatier with this than the stock black resin casio strap.Overall this is a good watch band. It fits the intended purpose, and is a secure fit. It is also fun to expand the watch with fingers like a tension band to strengthen muscles.

A word about the poor finish...
I have lived with this band for a little more than a month now. The finish on the INSIDE of the band is horrible - it has almost all flaked off. No problem for me, because it is stainless steel, and it doesn't show. The finish on the OUTSIDE of the band seems to be quite good - it is holding up well. If Speidel would have simply NOT applied a finish to the inside, I would have given the band a 5-star rating.BTW, I installed this band on a Timex Expedition watch. I had to file the inside of the mounting ears ever so slightly (bevel from the back side). I am glad to have this band, as I dislike leather bands, and my skin chemistry seems to rapidly disintegrate resin bands.I would recommend this band.

Nice band, liked that it was as wide as my Casio digital watch
Nice band, just the right length and liked the black finish, it matches my Casio black watch.I also liked that the band is as wide as my watch, it really looks like the stock plastic band which is a good thing. My previous skinny silver twist-o-flex always looked funny on my watch.6-23-12(little more than 2 years of daily use) Band still working great but like all "black" bands I've had the black paint has wore off all the high parts. It would be nice if someone made a black "anodized" band, but I've never seen one. Still like the band though!8-11-12 Purchased a second band for another watch, my original is still working great(except for the lack of paint on the high parts) and I'm glad they are still making this band!4-1-15 After almost 5 years of daily adult use, my original band broke :( one of the springs broke apart and the band is separated in the middle, unusable. I'm going to order another one, 5 years of daily use is probably good, doubt a plastic or even leather band would have lasted longer or even as long. Here's hoping for another 5 years!

Good band at the price
This band is a perfect match for the Timex Expedition and watches of a similar style. The band is a flat-black finish that has a rubber-like look. The 18-22 mm size, which seems confusing at first will be apparent when the band is attached. The key is a spring loaded attachment bar that completely hides the conventional expansion pins that attach the band to the watch (see my picture). If the watch measures from 18 to 22 mm across the attachment - this band will fit.The band itself is very comfortable to wear and makes putting the watch on or taking it off a lot easier than an awkward buckle. The material should easily outlast leather or the nylon types so often paired with sports watches. Especially at the price offered by Amazon, the band is a great value and no more than many of the buckle type bands. Oddly though, new expansion pins do NOT come with the band (despite the statement on the packaging that they are included)6mo follow-up, the black finish on the band has started to chip or rub off - particularly at the edges of the links where rubbing occurs.

18 mm but can easily be filed to fit 16 mm G-Shock
The G-Long must mean that it was intended to fit a Casio G-Shock having an 18 mm spacing, but as pointed out by an earlier review, most G-Shocks have a 16 mm spacing. The band itself is not exceptionally long. I bought the band thinking that I could file the hidden spring stud holders down from 18 mm to 16 mm to fit my G-Shock DW 5600E. This was easy to do with a square edge file and took about 15 minutes. Had to remove the expanders and springs from the stud holders and file a notch in the rear of the stud holders to make room to install the spring studs. Having a spring bar tool made the installation easier. I am very pleased with the result as it exactly duplicates the styling on the original G-Shock plastic band and matches the watch perfectly. I am going to buy another as I understand that this band is no longer manufactured.

Speidel makes good products.
This watch band fits my Casio World Time Watch perfectly. The watch came with a rubber watch band, which I did not like, so I replaced it with the Speidel watch band. Have always liked the Speidel watch bands, ever since the twist o flex watchbands days. So the watch bands are still excellent. Speidel makes an excellent product. Am very much satisfied with this band.

Fits, removes and twisty.
A replacement that replaced the exact same item which lasted for about three years. And I'm rough in these watch bands. A male nurse in a large busy hospital I take off or slide the watch up my arm multiple times a shift to wash my hands. So those three years are like 5-7 years for a normal person. The replacement finally went kaput and broke. This will do well till I retire.

Not what I expected from Speidel
Pros: Super light weight, you can throw a ball, frisbee, etc, and you don't feel the watch dancing on your writst.Cons: I've already broken this think a couple of times when I snagged it on something, obviously made in China, I've only had this for a couple of months. The old Twist-O-Flexes lasted for several years. Unlike most Chinese stuff, though, at least the materials are good enough that you CAN put it back together without it breaking, it's just annoying that you have to.
