Not a playset, buy characters instead
This is a hard toy to understand. The character doesn't really do anything by itself. The playset should not be described as a playset. It is exactly what the picture looks like but there really is not anything for the character to do with it. There is a single button in the playset and the swing. I could not see how the button did anything but my son liked making the laser of the button change the color of the character. It looks interesting and sturdy so it makes a fun decoration. I think this toy is pretty useless without a second character. When you have at least two characters they can interact and make each other move. They will vibrate around, be warned it will sound exactly like a text on your phone, and they will change colors to show you how they feel about the interaction. They do not talk. I do not understand the point of this toy but my 6 year old son did enjoy them so I think it's something that only makes sense to kids. My 4 year old daughter liked playing with the figures but did not make them interact. They both preferred the characters over the playset. We haven't seen the food accessories yet so maybe that would make it more interesting

Cute little toys!
My kids (ages 4.5 and 2) are both attracted to the characters, playset and accessories of this series. They like the interaction between all the different pieces and how they react to the food and each other. There are two things that I'm not a huge fan of. The first is that the little arms come off the characters. While we are past the age of it being a choking hazard, they're still small and bound to get lost soon. The second thing is the lights in the tummy are confusing. The colors are hard to tell apart on the tummy and since there are so many my son can never remember what lights means what. He's constantly asking me to read the paper for him. A slightly older child would be able to read it himself, but it's still annoying to have to reference the instructions all the time, I think. But we are having fun with them! They're cute little toys.

Surprisingly Entertaining!
I got this for my eleven-year-old daughter, who has high functioning autism, and she LOVES it! I think she really enjoys that they express their "emotions" visually through colors. I got her four-year-old brother a companion set, and they play with them together for hours. I really didn't expect them to be quite as much of a hit! They have both already asked for more for Easter! :)

Horrible and cheaply made and they are just glorified pagers
Horrible and cheaply made and they are just glorified pagers. They do nothing but vibrate just like an old school pager.

Magic Meemees.
My daughter absolutely loves these creatures. The only problem is their arms easily fall off and they buzz and do not talk at all like it states. Other than that she loves them. Impossible to find in stores.
