Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Defining Lift and Fan Mascara, No. 01 Black,0.21 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

The wand for this mascara does a good job of separating the lashes and minimizing clumping. It also stays on well all day and withstands tears (I'm a crier :). My only objection is that there is some smudging--not too bad though. I've not been able to find a mascara that is waterproof and also smudge proof. Since I tend to squint, and my eyes crinkle up when I laugh, mascara tends to smudge under my eyes as the day wears on. Some are so bad, I've had to toss them altogether. This one is pretty good if not perfect. It also helps in holding curl if I've used a curler, or even adds a bit of lift to my straight lashes if I haven't used a curler, plus adds a good look and a bit of length. It's one of the best mascaras I've found, although not perfect. It also does not irritate my sensitive eyes, which some do.

I have used Estée Lauder mascara for years. In my opinion it has always been the best. My all time favorite was illusionist , but it was discontinued. Since then i have been disappointed with every new product they come out with and it’s one has hit an all time low. I like a smooth mascara that sweeps my eyelashes up and makes them look long and defined. I fight with this clumpy tube of crap every morning. My eyelashes don’t look long and defined, they look clumped up, stubby and stuck together. like I’m wearing cheap drugstore mascara. I guess I’ll be saying goodbye to estee lauds and start looking for a new brand.

I love this mascara! I have thin lashes and most mascaras clump up on them. This doesn’t. It goes on lightly yet makes my lashes seem to stretch. I haven’t had problems with it smearing so it seems to be smudge-proof. It’s also easy to remove with my normal facial soap. So I’ll keep buying it until they stop selling it.

I’ve used Estée Lauder for quite awhile now and I prefer it over other brands. About 5 years ago, I received a gift from a frien of four small sample mascaras that were in different colors. The colors I had were blue, aubergine, purple and black. I wish they would bring those back because they were the beset colors and made my eyelashes thick, long and didn’t clump. I’ve yet to find another formula like those.

I would have given this a better review, but I didn’t like the smell of this mascara. I will not buy again.

Love this mascara. Used Lancome for decades & swore by it, then was told about this product from a friend. Cannot believe how much thicker & longer it makes my lashes. No smudging, stays all day. Removed easily with gentle cleanser!!

I've had Estee Lauder mascara before, found it long lasting and easy to use.This lasted a very short amount of time and never stopped clumping, from first use to last.What a waste.

I like this for easy on and off mascara. This isn't a bargain brand but my senstive eyes don't have any issues whatsoever. So it's a go to for me.
