Ordered the "dark brown" color. They arrived and had such a distinct green hue on the outer glaze around the edge that I assumed they had sent me the wrong dishes. Returned for a replacement. Second shipment arrived - lo and behold, GREEN. Not accurate to the description or photos. Such a shame as they would have been perfect if the glazing was brown as pictured instead of that ugly green.

These ceramic dishes are very high quality. I have used them for salsa, onion dip, ikari sauce, as well as a side of Kim chi. The dish is perfect for when you need a side of something. They are quite thick, and should last quite a long time.I hand washed them, and dried them in a dish drying rack as I have no dishwasher except for my own two hands. I would not hesitate to get a set of these for a gift. They came in an unmarked box with foam in between each of them.

The green of the glaze is mesmerizing. Beautiful and classic soy sauce dishes. They make me want the whole set of plates/bowls.

These little bowls are great to use for dipping. However, I mainly use them to hold ingredients when I am cooking. It makes cooking so much more efficient to measure out the ingredients all at once, so I can easily add them during the cooking process. The bowls are pretty, feel well made, and can be washed in the dishwasher. I have no complaints.
