Dell Inspiron i3542-3334BK 15.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop

Bought it as a Christmas Present for my daughter. She found it so she uses it for her schoolwork. It works well and has good sound. For the money I spent you cant beat it.

I received this computer 2 weeks ago. The dvd player does not work. The computer did not come with the software to play dvds. (Its missing the dvd decoder software.) The warranty for the computer does not cover software - only hardware. You have to pay extra for software support. Dell basically said they couldn't help me. Now I have to buy a software package for the dvd to work.

This is a great laptop for the price! I love the touchscreen & have had no problems with it at all. It came with Windows 10, which was a little difficult to get used to, but then they offered the free Windows 10 update & that made it much more user friendly. I use it mostly for browsing, social media, etc... It did not come with any Office software, but I have found free downloads of Open Office which work well for me.

Arrived on time and as discribed

This is an excellent laptop for the cost. It's very fast and easy to use. Not a fan of Windows 8 but once you get used to it it's okay, much prefer Windows XP. The touchscreen is nice for some things and not so good for other things. The screen is a little small so you need small fingers I guess. The built in mouse comes in handy but is very touchy. All in all it's a great bargin and I'm glad I bought it.

Product came with a dead battery, out of warranty and Dell won't accept responsibility; so now I am going back to Amazon and try and straighten out this problem
