This unit is amazing: call it up and it will send a text containing a link to its location on Google Maps. You can send a message which will stop the vehicle, or even let you listen in or speak to the person who's driving (car thief presumably. Does all the things a tracker will do for several hundred pounds plus a subscription. The only disadvantage vs tracker is that you have to liaise with the vehicle yourself. But at the price it's fantastic. You'll probably need an auto electrician to fit it, but I had it done for under £50. Strongly recommended.

Im so impressed with this that I brought a 2nd to replace my skytag tracker that cost 4 times as much and has a yearly subscription. The ability to get a text back with a google maps link is brilliant and to remotely turn off what ever you wire it into is clever, you can even have an overspeed warning if its for company vehicles

Cet appareil fonctionne très bien pour son prix.Toutes les fonctions testées fonctionnent, à l'exception du traceur gprs web recommandé qui indique un message d'erreur "IMEI has expired". Mais il suffit de s'inscrire sur un traceur gratuit (cherchez gps trace orange...) et ça marche.Evidemment, il ne faut pas être débutant complet en informatique pour en tirer tous les avantages.Par contre, obtenir la position par sms est un jeu d'enfant (il faut quand même un vieux GSM qui prend les cartes sim de taille normale pour supprimer le code pin).Petit bémol : les antennes GPS et GSM ne sont pas si facile à dissimuler. Peut-être qu'un appareil tout en un (genre tk102) fonctionne aussi bien.Et puis, ne pensez-pas que c'est un antivol très robuste. Une vielle radio détectera facilement si votre véhicule émet des ondes GSM...et si l'appareil est trouvé, vous risquez bien de ne jamais avoir la moindre alerte (surtout si vous n'avez pas activé l'alarme de portière)...avant de couper quelque câble que ce soit, il suffit d'une pointe de bic pour éjecter la carte SIM et hop, c'est fini !Plus utile comme localisateur pour personnes consentantes ou contre le vol d'usage par des gamins, que contre les bandes organisées qui voudraient s'en prendre à votre Porsche Cayenne ! :-)
