Shark Sonic Duo Carpet and Hard Wood Floor Swivel Steering Scrubbing Cleaner

I was hoping that this would do a little better job on carpets. It seems to spread the rinse around rather than "brushing it" and sucking it up. There is no sucking anything up with this Shark. It works better on hardwood and tile floors than on carpet. If you are looking for a carpet cleaner I wouldn't recommend this product at all but if you have hardwood floors or tile it works well. I like the fact that it has removable pads (and you can buy replacements if you are not into washing a lot) that you can remove easily and wash. The bottles of cleaners are easy to change out and last a long time. I would recommend watching the YOUTUBE channel on how to properly use this Shark (gives tips on not leaving it on a the floor after cleaning it, how fast/slow to go with it, etc). Overall, it's easier for me to use than say a wet jet only because I am disabled and the ease of pushing the button for the rinse to come out and the fact that it does all the hard work for you when it comes to cleaning the floor. It practically pushes itself and it vibrates so the dirt is removed. No need for using "elbow grease" to get the floor clean...and that helps me a lot!

Daily mopping

I have never had a single problem with a shark product before. Their stuff is top notch and their customer support is legendary. I purchased the shark sonic duo carpet and hard floor scrubber after spending I don't know how much money on swiffers and similar hardwood cleaners and was tired of scrubbing muddy paw prints up everyday. This product works great. With two different scrubbing speeds and a built in sprayer with detachable bottle for the floor solution it powers through the toughest spots in seconds. I still get muddy paw prints but this takes care of them in seconds. When I received it the bottle caps that plug into the machine were missing but after a quick email to the shark website at midnight which was responded to in a matter of minutes. That's right. In the middle of the night I got a reply that said that since they didn't have just the lids in stock they would send me two replacement bottles which I recieved free of charge in just a few days. Overall I couldn't be happier. A shark customer for life.

Easy to work. Not hard to clean.

I used this machine today, and have used in many times in the past year that I have owned it. Our household had light carpets and two happy dogs who love to run outside, and bring some footprints inside with them! The Shark Duo is the only product/machine we have used which resulted in great success. I pretreat, then clean with the Sonic Duo, and amazingly all the stains are gone! That's right, Gone! I use it every 8-12 weeks on average, depending on the amount of soil in the carpet. It is such an easy and effective machine, and I really like not having to haul out the old heavy carpet shampooer. Only one request: Please provide larger solution bottles in the initial purchasae. You get so excited about how amazing it works, you want to go do other rooms too. But you have to order new solutions first.....

Wood floors, tiled

This is my third Shark purchase and I am more and more pleased with each item I buy. We just purchased a house that is 32 yrs old with original tile floors and while the tile was pretty clean the grout was gross. Because the tile was raised the grout was hard to get to, so this cleaner didn't get the worst of the grout but it did get the floors a lot cleaner. We also have wood floors and have used it on the them and like the 2nd step with the buffer pad to remove any smudges or floor cleaner build up. I haven't used the carpet function yet but can imagine it will do a great job as well.

This floor cleaner is easy to use, lightweight and does a superior job.I cannot understand why Shark quit making this item.I am so happy I found a used one and it works perfectly.
