How difficult is it to read this read this digital display outdoors? Say timing a childrens sporting event.

With the right angle you can read it with no problem. But the digital display is general not big or bright enough to be easily read.

Yes. There is an English option in the menu.

Can you change the strap on this watch?

Never done it but absolutely. Strap is the worst thing about this. You'll just need to measure the gap where the strap attaches to the watch to make sure that it will fit and off you go. Don't know why they didn't make a strap that matches the case, daft....

I was doing a manual calibration and when it was complete it said ge t on the screen. what does ge t stand for?

Manual p E-24 says: "When reception is successful, "GET" appears when reception is complete, and the watch adjusts its current time setting."
