Fits my D7000. The regular rubber eyepiece must be removed before installing this.
It's just a cheap piece of plastic but a handy item for long-exposure photography. It keeps light from from sneaking in through the viewfinder and ruining the shot. Black tape will work just as well but is a nuisance. To install this cap, remove the regular rubber eyepiece by sliding up and off then slide the cap down into the spot where the rubber eyepiece used to be.A lens cloth is included and I'll probably use that for less mission-critical jobs like cleaning sunglasses. I don't have much faith in freebie lens cloths.
