A GUYS/LARPER'S REVIEW a nice addition to nerf family
DISCLAIMER!! I bought This with the plan to paint it and have my wife use it in a post apocalyptic LARP. this review centers on that. after checking it out I may get another for me. this is the literal sister toy to the zombie strike nerf gun. now that its in hand I like it more than the z strike versionlets start with the good1-the paint scheme is nice! its good looking toy. as opposed to most nerf products, the "nerf" logo is rather small and not raised. for a lot of games / costumes this might work without completely repainting it! and if you do you don't have to sand down any raised logos / nonsense. a big time saver!2- it fires smoothly and good distance, accuracy is ok,3- it has a low profile!, again unlike most nerf pistols its not too big. actually just a little larger/wider than a real gun. so when its in the holster on your hip its not catching on everything, and doesn't have the too big to be real/ goofy look. they literally trimmed off anything that wasn't needed! look at pics of the z strike version and you will see what I mean4- its cheaper than the z strike version....and you get more in the set....like the holster and glasses. its only a few dollars...but for basically the same product im all for less expensive.5- you really can use this one handed without a motorthe con side1- the cocking mechanism is awkward, it takes practice to hold the gun right to work it smoothly. if you have small hands this could be a deal breaker. you also have to keep your finger clear of the trigger while cocking the hammer. its got a hair trigger so when your drawing the hammer down if you hit the trigger it wont lock and you misfire and start the process all over , or shot the dart wild2- the holster is a nice attempt, but its flimsy plastic and wont hold up to running around. with some TLC its got potential.3- its slow....compared the fire rate of the other nerf guns which are all used 2 handed or battery operated motors. in a "fire fight" your at a disadvantage vs the other nerf guns.conclusion- if your looking for a nerf battle gun this isn't it, its too slow to be a contender compared to the other nerf offerings. if your looking for costume accessory, or for a back up gun for a LARP/ game of some kind this is a solid addition! it looks great and can be used with 1 hand.I give it 3 stars for function and an extra 1 for style/looks

Baby's First Handgun!
Normally, I hate when they re-color toys a pink shade and try ever-so-obviously to pander to girls. It is slightly condescending, don't you think? So it is pink, and now you think girls will like it more? And worse, the advertising campaign for this toy tries to entice girls by the "Hey girls, be a snotty teenager which is soooo cool" thing, gag me with a spoon. And the dreaded "girls rule, boys drool" shtick is sooOOOOooo icky, I don't want to talk about it.That said, however, this toy is awesome.First, it is a successful gun design, essentially the zombie-strike revolver which is jam-proof and easy to load, and has hammer-fire like the old west. We have a LOT of NERF guns and the revolvers are the ONLY guns that are reliable when the chips are down. Meaning no tears and "daddy fix this". Meanwhile, for essentially the same price as the same zombie-strike gun, you get a very practical holster and some shades (which, honestly, the kids should wear with NERF darts flying everywhere. So it is actually a great deal. My daughter (5 going on 14) loves the fancy dart colors and can work the hammer, but keeping up with older brothers made her a pro, so maybe a bit older kids could more readily work the mechanics.I live in Texas now, so, you know, even the girls HAVE to have a gun.

Nerf Rebelle
This was a Christmas gift for my 6 yr old niece and it was a big hit, immediately upon opening it. The gun is of decent size, and what a bargain I got on it with the eyeglasses and holster included! The eyeglasses are of very good quality, & for younger ones, I think very important if they are having a nerf war. (Altho' Nerf says they can't hurt the eyes, if the gun has good power, which this one does, don't kid yourself! A child could easily be hurt if not wearing glasses. In my house, all the children must wear safety glasses of some type when play with Nerf guns.)The day after receiving it, my niece had to have tubes put in her ears. In calling to see how she made out, her mother told me that while she was suppose to be resting, she could not put down the nerf gun..... she absolutely loved it. For those teens or adults out there who want to play with Nerf, this is a very nice gun even for adults. It says it will shoot up to 75" and I believe it.... it has excellent force! I'd guess it to be about 12" long, easy enough for females to handle. You can't lose with this purchase, especially if Amazon still has it on sale.

Fantastic gun great distance and accuracy!
So in our down time my boss and fellow coworker we will have nerf gun wars. I am new to the job and had no idea I would need one of these guns, so when gun fights break out I was always being attacked and all I could do was throw the darts back. So I finally bought the Rebelle gun, I wanted to get one that was as girly as I could get it(I'm the only women that works at this store). I read the reviews and I liked the looks of this gun. So I finally got it the other day, but I only got to use it today. I was worth every penny, my boss and I had a nerf gun war and my gun is better than his. I got him back today. This gun shoots very straight and many do the bullets fly. I got him from across our store while my bosses gun which is a small 3 shooter, only went about halfway.it was nice to finally get him back.Long story short I highly recommend this gun, you'll get accurate shots, and from a very long distance away.

Great set. Daughter finds the cocking mechanism a little ...
Great set. Daughter finds the cocking mechanism a little bit hard as she doesn't have the hand span / strength to do it with her thumb like I do, but she can do it her own way. Seems pretty accurate. The end has come off one dart already but darts are easily replaced. She really likes the glasses and I like the idea of her not shooting herself in the eye. Overall really happy with this, great gun.
