Its not all 5 stars though. The box arrived packaged in an Amazon box and the supplier box (Iwatani) was in perfect condition, no visible damage and looked like it had not been opened before.Inside everything looked to be good as well until I looked closely, then I noticed a few things were slightly bent, so it must have been dropped, and quite hard at that.The front screw was at an angle and the gas cover did not align with the stove, and the rear part of the gas chamber was also bent, nothing bad, but noticeable.I removed the screws and straightened the bent parts and refitted the cover which I also had to slightly bend to get the gaps perfect, there was hardly anything in it but now it is better.The gas canister connected easily and the stove lit and operated perfectly.I then noticed that it did not sit level. The foot nearest the gas valve was pushed in from underneath a couple of mm and this caused the stove to sit on three feet, so a bit more fettling was required to bring this foot back out and get the stove perfectly level.It looks like the box must have been dropped from height straight down and it landed flat, the only part with any weight (The valve) is where all the bending occurred to the bottom of the stove.So this was the only gripe, now it is all nice and straight and gaps are all sorted, the stove works very well indeed, it really chucks out some heat so will have to watch I dont burn anything. But it is also very adjustable. Really pleased with this.

Okay, this was quite expensive for me, but pretty much the cheapest Iwatani stove I could find. 3x more expensive than the regular low priced camping brands. Having used it, I'm wondering if I should of gone a higher budget.I cannot fault the appliance. The BTU - heat output is considerably higher than the general cheap stoves.Also, this stove has a plate that comes from the gas ring to cradle the gas cannister, helping transfer heat to keep from freezing up on gas consumption. Utilizing the full capacity of the can's gas without the need to change out after minutes.The magnetic lock in is fantastic!!Yes, the O+M is in Japanese. But if you can't work out how to use a magnet and quarter turn dial to ignite without instructions? You really shouldn't be playing with pressurised containers.All in all, I'm very happy with this light bit of kit, Thank you Iwatani :)

This is great, looks fantastic, if a little 'tinny'. Lighter than I thought it would be. Came with no safety lock which was described on the box, but easy to use without it.

Slim, light, serves its purpose perfectly.

Going to cook chicken Bulgogi tonight with it- this is an indoor/outdoor grill- tonight it is being used inside under the cooker hood. You can see the quality of it, the fitting for the gas impressed me because of how well it holds the camping gas. The flame is excellent and I have to say there is nothing like cooking with gas for certain dishes.Love it and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Stylish bit of kit that works well. Just be aware that the instructions are all in Japanese, with nothing in English. Having said that, it's not too difficult to work out how to use it. Recommended.

Bought to use as a camping stove. Really pleased with it's smaller profile and build quality. Heat is much more adjustable than my previous stove. Kettle seems to boil a lot faster though gas use is a bit higher.
