Clear See-through Butane Torch Lighter,assorted Color,refillable lighter

The lighter worked great when it was working. It did not last long. About 2-3 weeks. I was pleased, however, when I contacted the seller via Amazon and they shipped me out a new one for free. However, that one lasted for about the same amount of time. When I contacted the seller again, I did not necessarily expect them to ship me another one right away, as they had already done it once before. I just wanted to make them aware of the problem. However, I was told I was using a propane/butane mix and that is why they kept breaking. I kept trying to explain that I was not using a mixure, but I was not heard. Overall, it was a fairly disappointing experience.

This lighter is still working and holds enough butane to last for 3 weeks and I`m a pipe and cigar smoker. I have purchased $30 lighters that didn`t last a week so I`m happy this has lasted over a month. It isn`t the type of lighter that you would want to carry in your pants pocket as it is bulky but would work in a jacket pocket. The flame is adjustable but it seemed to turn it up was in the opposite direction the arrow showed. A great home lighter.

I bought this lighter because I liked the way it stands (my last lighter similar to this had little legs and once one snapped off, it would no longer stand) and because it's easy to see when it needs refilling. BUT it loses a star because you get an "afterburn" when you release the button, which means that gas is still flowing even after you release. My husband accidentally burned his hand because he didn't notice the flame was still burning when he brushed it over his hand.

and the button to push was hard to use. I dumped them all.
