Whole Kernel Corn- by NOTEBOOM FARMS

I have a Wondermill Nutrimill to grind wheat. Today I received my order of Whole kernel Dent Corn. I couldn’t wait to grind and make a pan of cornbread… I have never ground corn before. I’ve always bought cornmeal from the grocery store. NEVER AGAIN! This whole corn is so clean and full fat kernels. I ground a cup to make cornbread tonight for dinner and it’s the very best cornbread I’ve ever made. So delicious, light and fluffy. This whole corn is absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about it, but after posting this review, I’m going straight over to buy another 25# bag and next week, another 25# to add to my pantry. It’s well worth it, I promise!

Good product

We've been buying this corn for a few years now for the neighborhood ducks. It comes with minimal packaging and is very clean. I appreciate the consistency and that I can buy it in 25lb amounts. Great product. you get just what you pay for

If using for mycology, prepare to cook this corn twice as long.

It came as promised and it was pretty high quality. It had very few broken kernels. I malted this corn and had near 100% germination rates. I like to use malted corn in my mash so it’s easier to sparge. It’s hard to find malted corn for distilling so I make my own. This product is perfect for malting in my opinion. I will definitely order again if possible.

Package arrived late, product shipping box damaged , product leaking out of shipping package, quality of this corn is the poorest I’ve seen. It’s questionable even as deer feed. Company does not respond to request for refund, missing partial shipment or any consumer concerns. Could I give a lower rating? Yes I would give it a negative star cause I had to take the effort to throw the product away!

The media could not be loaded. The product itself is not bad and this is not eligible for return so I will just keep it, but I will pay triple attention before using this for any purpose due to the Alice worm and dead pest in it. I don’t want any of them get free in my apartment. Won’t buy again. Some updates: I washed all of the corn last night and found 3 kinds of insects. One is the dead one in the photo. The second kind is the worm, which I found 4 dead ones and 3 alive. The third kind is a small black one and I found about 4 to 6 of it. I don’t remember exactly. I don’t know what that insect is but they looked like those that you can find in rice that has been stored for many years. Anyway, it’s better than I thought, especially better than what I thought when I took the bag out of the box and the big locust caught my attention lol. The person who owns this online store should fix their relationship with the packing team. No way they didn’t see the dead locust. They could have picked it out but they just left it there. Now you have this bad review.
