I bought this case as the phone just came out. It was designed to be a case that carried me through until I found a better option. Since then I have grown to really appreciate the design and durability. This is not engineered to fall off the roof or be submerged in the lake but is a valid everyday option. It looks professional and does a decent job intergrating with the HTC ICE View.UPDATE: The cover has gotten a little loose over the past three months but not enough to effect performace. I have dropped the phone from about four feet onto my patio. It did land in the worst way, right on the bottom corner. The case collapsed where a sharp corner or rock hit and did damage the phone body. Again it was not designed for superior protection and I would take a slight nick over broken screen. Also the window for the cover does seem to get especially finger-printy. Just the window area.

It's thin n light but gets discolouration after just a few weeks.
