Same quality as original. Not too difficult to fit.
Surprised that the parts seemed to be cheap-ish die cast pieces, until the old lock came out. it is exactly the same quality as original. Easy to take out - torx T20 (for a VW Golf).Looked at a "how to" on Utube first, in case of surprises.Ten minutes to strip and reassemble, checking with the video. Used ceramic grease as I had some.Put the lock back in the door - and it would not lock. Took it apart again to check. Still would not lock.Closed the door......lock worked perfectly. Doesn't operate with the door open.Very pleased with the lock parts. Can't beat the price. Looking forward to doing another one.

works exactly as desired
Very easy procedure to repair a door lock cylinder with this kit and much better than the prospect of replacing the cylinder. all of the components seem to be of a high quality, and for the price I really have no complaints at all. I recommend cleaning and re-lubricating the cylinder while repairing it, this will ensure maximum lifetime out of your newly refurbished cylinder. (make sure the lubricant is suitable for locks; eg graphite spray)
