Good luck pairing, bad D-Pad, Bad x-input emulation, terrible joysticks.
I want to like this controller because the design is cool.USB port works for Xinput on pc, but you'll never be able to hold it while plugged in because of the port location on handleJoysticks register after between 5 and 15 degrees, reach max value about 10 degrees before you hit the gate. This basically was a shortcut to avoid calibrating them or buying consistent pots, and effectively makes them feel like digital arcade sticks, unless you are very talented at feathering them near the middle of throw.Triggers are digital, but if you use USB they just jump 0-255 for xbox controller emulationDidn't work on Android after about an hour of tryingSpent about 3 hours trying to set it up with bluetooth on ultramicro pc (GPD MicroPC) and although it fits mechanically (perfectly) it will not show up in any games or even x360ce when "paired" over bluetooth. It's a complete joke.Extending handles are pointless (uncomfortable, leave them retracted)D-Pad is floating above metal dome switches keep pressing until you feel a firm click. this would be okay on some of the other buttons. Sadly, only the dpad has domes. all other buttons are mushy. domes under the dpad feel terrible.

Great controller overall... except for that d-pad
I've got some mixed feelings about this controller. It works great for the Raspberry Pi portable gaming machine I set out to build. But the grips are a bit small for my hands - especially with the weight of the Pi and the battery I'm using to run it. The grips are extendable, but much less comfortable to hold when extended due to the mechanism feeling a bit cheap and the edges being a bit sharp. That said, connectivity is great and easy to set up. And the battery life is fantastic. All the buttons feel nice... except the d-pad, which is WAY too clicky and loud to really use. As a workaround, I'm reconfiguring my games to use the stick instead - not ideal, but doesn't bother me too much for most games. Other than that, I don't have much else to say. Good quality overall, just not quite perfect.

I've enjoyed using it so far
I've enjoyed using it so far, one start short of 5 because it doesn't auto-pair with my phone (always have to dig in my phone settings to connect it), and for how small it is. It's not that small, just smaller than I expected, compared to, say, and Xbox controller. Even for being small comparatively, it's not great for portability. I'm afraid of it breaking if I just toss it in my bag and go. I've kept the original box for transportation. All that said, I'd still recommend this for emulation, especially because it can hold your device both vertically and horizontally.

Does it's job.
I bought this to replace a previous iPega brand android controller, and while I can't remember the model name of the previous, I think I preferred that one.I chose this over the newer, 'Red Knight' model that iPega offers, and I'm not sure it was a wise decision. Which isn't to say that this is a bad controller, far from it. It's not perfect, but it works quite well for the price range. I primarily emulate PS1 games on my phone using this, and while something slower like RPGs are preferable when using a somewhat clunkier controller, it serves shockingly well for fast paced action and platforming games from that era.My biggest grips are the size of the controller, and the lack of anything keeping your device held tight. There's extendable grips that can be adjusted with the nobs on each side, but they hardly make a difference in my own experience. There's also nothing to keep your device from falling out beyond the grip on each side of it; there's no bit of plastic or whatever beneath, for instance. Because of this, I recommend getting a decently thick phone cover or case if you can, to make it fill more of the space and rest more snugly so that there's less chance of dropping it.Connecting the controller was incredibly easy on my Android phone, and the controls are all very responsive. The d-pad is fairly well made for the cost, but the sticks are simply serviceable. I have no complaints about the rest of the buttons. I will say, though, that I have some pretty massive hands, and actually holding the controller can cause cramping after extended use due to its rather awkward shape. It's well worth the price, but consider other options before settling on this one. It's a fine controller, but there's others in different shapes in the same price range. Pick out which is best for you!

The thumbsticks are D-pads in disguise
EDIT: After using it further, I noticed that the thumbstucks are not what are expected. They seem to be acting as 8-way dpads instead of true thumbsticks. See the attached image for a comparison with a Bluetooth Xbox One controller. It's clear that the PG-9055 has an affinity for the center of the axises and border while the Xbox One controller appears roughly as a circle. This explains why FPS games felt _weird_. The app used to test is "Gamepad Tester".PROS- Pairs easily- Insignificant latencyCONS- Flimsy. Wobbles significantly under light gaming- Awful deadzones. Unusable for FPS (ex. GZDoom)

Left shoulder button doesn’t work.
I guess the controller is fine, but build quality is cheap, and it’s very defective, I heard this thing breaks a lot and has a lot of problems. So far, (7 days), it has not broken. And it functions as I would expect. But the left shoulder button does not work, and that just destroys everything. If you get this, there will always be at least something wrong with it, either a button, the Bluetooth cuts off, and I’ve heard it breaks pretty fast for no reason. Avoid this at all costs, it always has at least one problem, like most ipega controllers. Do not support ipega by buying their stuff, unless you just want to have a bad time. Don’t ever support them until they make a GOOD controller.

Otherwise the buttons feel solid and the battery life is good as well
Save your instructions! Not knowing the right combination of keys to press to get the device in the proper bluetooth mode is counterintuitive. Otherwise the buttons feel solid and the battery life is good as well.Major edit: It would appear that my L2 trigger has completely failed. Does not register key presses, removing stars, deciding NOT to recommend this product to anyone.
