ADAM AudioSub8 8.5 Inches Powered Studio Subwoofer

If you know anything about this brand, you will know this is top end equipment. "You get what you pay for", as the sound produced by this system is unbelievable. The ribbon tweeter is a standout feature. It's less fatigue on the ears and provides a level of depth and detail at lower volumes that I did not think was possible. The included subwoofer(which is actually the SUB7 not the Sub8) is adequate and powerful. It is accurate and tight. I am also using the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with 4, 10ft Mogami GOLD XLR cables. I am using the isoacoustics ISO-130 monitor stands, which I totally recommend. They are much better than buying those foam isolation pads. They are more expensive, but well worth it.
