Vax ECR2V1P Dual Power Pet Advance Carpet Cleaner, Plastic, 800 W, 4.2 liters, Grey/Blue & Original Pet 1.5L Carpet Cleaner Solution

So to start I wasnt sure about buying this due to some of the negative reviews about the vax. I bit the bullet and bought it none the less. So far I have used it 8 times and been really impressed each time I've used it. So to address some of the points in the negative reviews first off the plastics on the vax do look cheap I do agree with that but it is strong and light so apart from the look it's good. Secondly the biggest complaint I seen was the water leakage, now the fresh water tank sits at the top and the first few times i used it after putting the tank in i noticed water running out the drain holes down the body of the vax onto the top of where the power cable goes in yes its not a brilliant place to put the drain holes i know but the power cable runs up at an angle slightly and has a rubber grommet around it so the chance of water actually getting past is slim plus cables are usually insulated right up to the contact point and as the motor sits a bit higher i have no concern that water was going to damage it. Also after the first few uses i realised water only comes out the drain holes if you get the external of the clean water tank wet from filling if you take a towel and dry the tank befor putting it in you get very little to no water coming out the drain holes. Thirdly the vax picks up alot of water if you go slow after cleaning my carpets they felt almost dry and after 30mins were almost bone dry. And as to the noise of the machine it is alot quiter compared to some carpet cleaners i have used in the past. So the negative reviews in my opinion are mostly down to operator errors more than anything the pros to me i have a dog he makes a terrible mess and this vax has rescued all my carpets and my house smells lovely now also used it on my fabric sofa and car seats and its night and day the difference. Now only down side I noticed if you have ground in dirt on carpet it's better to soak the stain and scrub it with a brush before going over with the vax. But overall in my opinion it is a good machine for how little it costs and worth having with pets around. Read instructions make sure tanks are dry and set in the machine right and just take your time using it and you will get good results from it.

I don’t often leave reviews. But I felt this needed a 5* review. Really simple to put together. Really simple to work. Pulls out so much dirt. I knew our carpet needed a clean due to our puppy having a couple of accidents. I was shocked how much dirt it actually got out! 🤮

Having decided 6 cats and 2 dogs = need for carpet cleaner I saw one on tv. Looking on Amazon I came across this one for half the price. Read the reviews as usual and worried a bit about comments about missing items. Having worked for a logistics company I know that screws can sometimes be in strange places as this seemed to be a problem - missing screws. However they are in 2 small bags attached to the handle, all the extra bits were in the packaging. It arrived the day after ordering. I have heart problems, struggle with my ordinary vacuum cleaner but not this one. Light and easy to push around I am ashamed, in the way everyone is, about the amount of black water that is already in the tank just from the landing.

Used our new one for the first time today and was amazed at how much better than our old 13-14 year old Vax it is. Very easy to set up and use and took a lot of pet hair from deep down in the carpet up which made a huge difference. Very pleased so far.

Product arrived with no handle and no screws for the waste water and clean water tanks . Very poor quality control from VAX. All items should have been in the box, I contacted VAX and they were really rude and told me i had to purchase the missing items baring in mind i have just paid a lot of money for this carpet cleaner. Now having to wait for items that were missing and had to pay again with no offer of reimbursement from VAX. Clearly someone isn't checking the boxes before dispatching.

We have a 5 month old black lab and with a puppy come accidents and mess. Our carpet wasn't really stained or looking too dirty, but I could smell that it needed a clean. This machine was easy to assemble and set up. I tried it on the stairs first and it was a little hard to handle as it is a big machine and the attachment won't reach up all the stairs, but it was okay and not more hassle than with a hoover. I did the living room over the weekend and it is crazy how much hair and dirt the VAX picked up. The only downside is that there is no way to really clean the brush part. A lot of hair gets stuck around there and the only way to slightly clean it is to pick it out yourself.It didn't get out as much water as I expected, but as the carpet didn't feel drenched or too wet, I didn't think anything bad of it :)I would recommend this product right away for at home use.

HiWe recieved the carpet Vax Duel power pet advance carpet washer on 2nd Nov ...but not very happy at all it was not easy at all to assemble at all I've left it to my hubby to see if he can understand it.. Bu as I was checking the items inside there is a few items missing as it states on the book these should be included in your machine So why does it state that in when you check this is not in the box 250 × ultra pet solution... Reach hose...2 500ml pre- trearment Solution these items are missing ((if it states in your book)) you should get these tools so I will put in a complaint in with Amazon today

We have a black lab , and this has been brilliant as he was recently quite poorly, thought it was going to be a insurance job as carpet was brand new , brought all the stains of it in 1 go x
