Basics P94805B 12" International Scalloped Slicer with Black Polypropylene Handle

A must in the kitchen if you plan on slicing any large meats. It cuts evenly and smoothly. Also works well for cutting loaves of bread crosswise or lengthwise. Works great for cutting thin slices of tomatoes. It handles making very thin slices of steak for cheesesteaks when I would normally use an electric meat slicer. It makes short work of salami slices.I don't know how I ever managed without it. I find a new use for it at least once a week. I eventually wore out my first Dexter Russel Bread Knife after six years of nearly daily use and just replaced it with another one.The metal never rusts or pits and the handle holds firm in the hand even while wet. The knife also cleans up easily and the handle can be sanitized without discoloration or wear.Dexter Russel also makes great filet knives too.

This knife is a must for any meat hound. Slicing smoked salmon for presentation always takes care in getting a regular slice. This knife just makes that easy. Briskets roasts. Even fresh bread. Great job. No kitchen can do without it.

Great knife and I highly recommend. However, I’m not a master sharpener and this knife seemed to dull rather quickly. Only have used this on meats so not sure why it dulled only after a few months. I’ll try to get a sharpener.

Great knife for slicing bbq. I use this for brisket and ribs. Love it!!!

When I got the knife everything looked fine until I started cutting with it. There is one point on the tip of the knife that is longer than the others and it digs into the cutting board when I am cutting bread, it gets in the way and it completely ruined my cutting board. Save your money for a decent knife and don’t get this one

Long with no twist.

I ordered this knife specifically to cut brisket and other BBQ per the recommendation of Aaron Franklin in his BBQ Book that I also reviewed. I have had sharp knives before but this one is on a whole other level. Be careful!!! A fantastic carving knife!

For the price, I am not sure you can find a better value. Slices through meat like butter... love it for my brisket.
