Great book for beginners or anyone who needs reference
Purchased this after signing up to a local kyokushin karate school. This has been helpful on remembering the motions on certain techniques and a really good break down of the Katas

Excellent
I received this as a gift for Christmas. After years of training in other systems (I have black belts in Wado Ryu, BJJ & eskrima), I am busy adapting to Kyokushin. This can be confusing at times, because the names of techniques are often used differently from those of other styles of karate. In addition, the kata, while similar to those of Wado Ryu and Shotokan, are not exactly the same. This book is ideal for me.It lays out very clearly all the main kihon techniques (punches, kicks, blocks & stances) and their names and there is a well illustrated section on kata (over 100 pages) that has pictures of every step (note, the kata are not described in writing). There is a good section on Kyokushin competition (knock down). There are also section covering the history and development of Kyokushin, dojo etiquette, the ethos of Kyokushin and physical conditioning.Overall, this is an excellent introduction to this system - I am sure that I will be referring back to it for years. If I have one small criticism of the book, it is that the text of this English edition does not appear to have been thoroughly proofread by a native speaker of English - there are curious turns of phase and occasional use of words not usually used in the given context. This is only a minor criticism though - the text is clear throughout.

Ottimo
Bellissimo libro , può aiutare il praticante a capire la panoramica dei programmi per prendere la cintura nera, ottimo anche per ricordarsi meglio kata e kihon

Excellent reference book.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but there’s actually a lot of information in here. The pictures aren’t super clear, but I can be forgiving as there’s just so much information.
