Tomb Raider Lara Croft Area 51 Playmates 10" Figurine

I gotta say, this was an awesome find! My sister and I have always been lifelong Tomb Raider fans with a particular love of the classics and being the fact that her favorite game in the series is TR3 with her favorite section being Nevada, this was the perfect gift! I love this figure, almost felt like keeping it, but the fact that my sister was so ecstatic to have it was more than enough reason to resist.I've got to say, in terms of quality and detail, this figure shines above the other 10" figures in terms of quality, detail, and even likeness to Lara herself! Everything is meticulously detailed and it makes for a pretty awesome action scene. The base and box art are exceptionally well done and represent the Area 51 section of the game perfectly! It's still not quite as impressive as today's collector figures may be, but it's the sort of older style that gives it that 'classic' look. It literally feels like it popped right out of the game, and best of all, the 90's!This is the perfect figure for those with a profound love of classic Tomb Raider games. These relics are rare, be sure to pick one up while you still can!

Straight out of Tomb Raider III, this figure captures Lara's daring beak in to Area 51 to uncover the Element 115; an artifact of untold power. The detail work on this is amazing!! Realistic bullet holes in the base and Lara's determined yet desperate expression shows the intenseness of the situation. The detail work on this piece is so lifelike and breathtaking all while staying true to the game! It's a must have for your tomb Raider collection!

Captures the spirit of the Nevada section in Tomb Raider 3 perfectly. Great amount of detail, wonderful choice of action pose for Lara, and a must-have for fans of the third Tomb Raider game and Lara Croft collectors!

Lovely figure and in good condition.

I simply love this display piece. I like the updated look of Lara, the coloring and the quality of the paint job. As usual the weapons look great. If I one compliant, it's that she had a hard time holding the weapons because her hands are rigid - made from hard plastic. Other that that, no complaints..I would definitely recommend it to all Tomb Raider fan.
