Bright Starts Soothing Safari Mobile

i would have to agree that i was very happy i did not read the bad reviews on this item before i purchased it.i read them shortly after placing my order. i found the one review very helpful in the fact that i also went ahead and placed a small piece of cardboard over the speaker to dull the sounds. it sounds very good that way and the bright colors are very nice and vivid on the mobile. i looked around everywhere to find a well priced item cuz i dont have a large budget with 2 small children at home and i was very glad to have come across this item.i recommend anyone who views this item to take the chance on purchasing it because with one small very convient fix it was the perfect mobile for our family and i think it could be used by just about anyone. i hope you find this information helpful

My grandson spent his first 3 months in the hospital where he had this mobile. It is made of a plastic which is very washable. (I thought that might be why the hospital used it.) My grandson particularly enjoys the zebra. Of course when he went home we wanted him to have his beloved mobile. I haven't seen his, and don't remember the music or other features. Just that this boy loves his mobile and the price is very reasonable.

This is terrible, first one did not work, I returned and the 2nd one does not work too. The top part does not spin and also it does not attach to the crib well and kinds of wobbles over the baby. Cheap product. returning it.

For the price I think this is the best motor mobile there is. It is very basic the animals are a flat plastic with a sticker inlay. I didn't want to waste money on a mobile but my son saw one and stared at it for hours. I like that it has three volume options (low medium and no sound) and the option to have a short run by pushing the button or a longer run by using the on/off switch. It has a height adjustment on the orange base (the arm is a fixed height) and attaches with a safety clip.

We decided to purchase this even with the bad reviews because of the cost. It is great, no issues putting it together. the sound is fine. there is even a volume switch so you can turn it down a bit. the music plays for 15 mins and then turns off. Our daughter loves it. Perhaps they have updated the unit because the bad reviews about horrible speakers and no volume control seem to be solved.

My baby likes to look at the objects but I think there are a few cons: it doesn't attach to my pack n play, you cannot turn it without music playing and the objects just turn but only really move when you hit them. It is cheap though.

I like that it's plastic and easy to clean. Easy to remove from the crib when need be. However the turning mechanism is very loud, much louder than the actual music and the clip to hold it in place is very difficult to keep the whole mobile upright.

My baby loves this mobile. The colors are very nice and the music is soothing. It lasts about 15 minutes though and I wish it would last longer or have like a repeat switch or something. It was easy to put together as well.

My son hasn't liked to lie on his back since he was born. He happily looks at this mobile for almost 10 minutes now before squawking. Ask people not to touch the release buttons if they don't know what they are for. My husband did this & dropped the spinning part on the baby! It is lightweight & didn't hurt thankfully, just scared them both! The description doesn't really say but the colourful crib-side picture is to restart the music. So far its not bad on batteries, but needs a "+" screwdriver to open the compartment to change them. Edited to add: After 2 months it quit, and I kept forgetting to phone customer service. We changed the batteries, re-assembled it & it wouldn't spin, then the music wouldn't play more than 30 seconds. When I phoned customer service they needed the number off it, then sent me a new base which arrived in one week. Now baby boy can't use the mobile because he can reach it. He can gleefully push the button to turn on his music himself, very cute!

Our son falls asleep to this every night even still, though he is passed the recommended age for it. He figured out long ago how to hit the button on the inner side of the crib to start it himself, which is perfect. Im not a huge fan of how it mounts onto the crib, its a belt style mount and it isnt solid, but it hasnt come tumbling down even with my little guy reefing on the hanging toys. The battery life is pretty good, I think Ive changed them maybe 2-3 times in the 8 or so months Ive had it. Nice selection of lullabyes.

I was looking for a mobile that was bright, colourful, and had music. This is the one I choose and it worked great. My son loved watching the animals go around and would fall asleep easily listening to the music. We didn't remove the mobile part until he was more than 6 mths because it was quite high up from the crib and he was still not able to get up on hands and knees. I don't think he noticed it even missing because he still falls asleep easily with the just music. The 20 mins timing is perfect.

Me encanto! A mi bebé le gusta mucho. Dura 15 min tocando canciones y despues se apaga o tú puedes ir eligiendo de canción en canción y estarle presionando. Lo que no me gusto fue los colgantes que solo son plásticos colgando con listón, demaciado sencillo y caro por eso.
