The Bambinos Tidy Table Tray plus Flexi-Diner is an innovative way to bring babies, toddlers, and little kids to the table, making meal time more fun for children, and easier for mom and dad. The two-part tray clips easily to tables, features an easy on/off insert, and has an extending lip to catch spills. The Tidy Table Tray + Flexi-Diner is BPA free, and has a spill catch lip which ergonomically molds to a baby's body, while catching lap spills that fall between the child and the table. It protects tables, floors, clothes and reduces laundry loads (and need for bibs) too. The Bambinos tray invites young children to eat with parents and other family members, while giving them a special place at the big table just for them. The tray also has interactive locations for cups, spoons and forks, so that as your child grows she can learn that different things go in different places. The base tray allows for meal time to become craft or play time after eating is over. Parents can make one trip to the table instead of setting of several, setting up everything in the kitchen for meal time on the Flexi-Diner. When the meal is over, the insert tray is simply lifted out and brought back to the kitchen for easy clean up. The tray is held onto the table with a firm clip that fastens in seconds to the rim of tables (up to 2" thick), and was engineered with baby in mind. 18+ months. Top tray dishwasher safe - top rack only. Wash base tray with soap and warm water.

Not for thick, modern tables. Removable liner is awful.
I wanted to like this product but it's not something I can recommend. The clamp mechanism does not open far enough for modern, thicker table tops and it's clamping strength is pretty pitiful at best. Very easy for a toddler to remove. The removable liner is fashioned in a way to keep food on the tray, but it's plainly uncomfortable for my son and is made of very brittle, fairly rigid plastic. As other reviewers point out, it is prone to cracking when removed and installed. Given that the removable liner is part of the selling points, this is unfortunate. If the clamp went wider and was stronger we could use this more, but the poor quality and choice of materials regarding the removable liner is a deal breaker.

Life changeIng but not flawless
I never have to wait for the table. My kids have used this from birth through age 8. I line up to three trays get everything set up and then clear them all together. They are great but that being said they are not without their flaws. One of them has broken quite badly but it was dropped. It’s also challenging to clean the clip part as that’s not supposed to be wet. But I’ve been cleaning them for 7 years and they’re just fine. tried to find a replacement tray but could not contact the company on the number or website provided. Rarely need to clean under the tray and moisture does not get trapped underneath which is important for a wood table.

Hit or Miss
I think this is product that is going to work great for some people and not for others. I bought this several years ago and really never used it. Partly because I found the lip part to be ackwardly huge. I felt like my daughter would have hard plastic shoved into her chest while she tried to eat. I think this product is definitely for like a 2 to 4 year old - but by that point, your kids are done with throwing trays and dropping stuff everywhere. If not, then this is the product for you.It also goes without saying that this product really works best on a straight edge. While we have a rectangular dining table, our kids mostly eat on our round kitchen table. This product doesn't hold as well on a round table. I might try this with my 2 year old boys - but they are so destructive that I don't even think this thing could stop them.I actually think this product would be really great for an older child who had some challenges holding utensils for maybe some health / developmental reason or something along those lines. It's really practically an adult size tray.

Can serve soup again! =)
This tray is awesome. My younger son is now almost two and when he used to drink soup, I always had to give him a bath afterwards because the soup would end up everywhere. It would be all over his clothes, all over the booster and seat, and all over the floor around him. I am not sure how he manages this, or how much soup actually gets into him. Oh, yeah, and he also refuses to wear a bib. So, whenever I was interested in serving soup, I also had to decide if I really wanted to deal with that mess that day. While randomly searching on Amazon one day, this tray caught my attention. I liked that there was a lip that extended past the table to catch food. I decided to try it.We have been using this for a few weeks now and I love it. We use it with a booster, so my son's chin is about an inch or two above the lip of the tray...perfect! One annoying thing for me is that it doesn't not fit my table very well. I knew of this issue going in, so it does not affect how much I love the product, but I thought I would mention it. My circular table is about an inch thick, but has a ring under the table about 2 inches in, if that makes any sense. So, the tray clips onto the table, but the under-ring blocks it from clipping on entirely. It still works, though, it is just not quite as stable as it could be and at this point, my son has no interest in flipping the tray, so the clip is not really necessary for me. My son has had soup a few times since we bought it and although he still got it on his shirt, his pants and seat/chair/floor were clean..hurray!

This is perfect for our toddler!
We used to use the Tiny Diner Mat but my 19 month old can easily pry it off the table and throw it which she does every single time. It was more of a pain to use. Then I saw this Bambinos tray on here and I ordered it right away. It clips right to the table and is very secure. Really easy for my husband or I to move it but too hard for my toddler to. Perfect! I love how it has the green removable tray on top. It's also too hard for my toddler to pull it off, but easy for us too. It's easy and quick to wash and I just throw it in the dish rack and it's dry by next meal time. She also uses the cup holder too which is funny but I like how it teaches her where to put her cup. We've only had this a week so far but I think we will take it to restaurants with us as well. It will give her somewhere to put her food that is clean and it's easy to unclip and take with us.
