Coola Reactor Crown Stove Cradle Stand 63 G (2.22 Oz) Camping Backpacking Hiking Gear

I was very excited to see that this product existed, because I wanted to use my reactor stove with other cookware, and the curvature of the top surface of the burner makes this impossible. It arrived in the mail today and I decided to compare how long it takes to boil a cup of water using the MSR pot that came with the burner vs. using a small saucepan sitting on top of the Coola crown. With the MSR pot, it took just about 58 seconds for the water to boil. I then put the crown on the burner and put a cup of water in a standard small saucepan on top of the crown. At about 2'15" steam was rising and bubbles were forming, but then I heard a scary noise that sounded like the gas was being vented. I immediately turned off the stove and let it cool down. When I tried to light it up again, there was no gas flow, even though there was plenty of fuel left in the canister. I called in to Cascade Designs and they told me there was nothing I could do in the field and that I have to send it in for repair. I am really disappointed!! I'm just glad I did this test at home and not in the wilderness!

It serves the purpose fittingly. Now I can use fry pan with the Reactor.

I now have G-works reactor stand 3 that works perfectly. Do not buy. You will have to send Reactor in to get repaired.
