Don't Look Perfectly Natural, Don't Look Ridiculous Either
Georgie Beauty Style No. 3 'La Starlette' Faux Lash. These false eyelashes, are, their manufacturers state, naturalistically designed in classic styles. The handmade lashes are made in Indonesia: they are shiny, voluminous, weightless, relatively easy to apply and can be worn many times. They are mounted on a flexible black band that mimics black eyeliner. They also come with Georgie’s own Korean-made adhesive: the first dermatologist-tested, nontoxic PETA and vegan certified adhesive that is free of formaldehyde, phtalaates and parabens.. Both items – one pair of lashes, one tube of adhesive, come in their own chic, refillable compact that will keep the lashes clean and in shape between wearings. These lashes should be applied after the application of eye makeup. Trim them at first use; apply adhesive, place on natural lash line, tap down. They do not, of course, look perfectly natural, but they don’t look ridiculous either: the effect is pretty. On my first use of them, I didn’t necessarily find their application easy; but it wasn’t terribly difficult either. Of course, my 25-year nervous habit of tearing out my eyelashes meant that my eyelids were frequently bare (and my natural lashes still are sparse). This has left me with a beauty problem I’ve been trying to correct as long as I can remember. Back in the day, I wore false lashes pretty often, when circumstances recommended their wear: mind you, many young women did at that time: it was the style. And, back in the day, I applied fake lashes pretty easily. Of course, my hands were much more adept back then. Still, I was able to apply these lashes by Georgie. I found it was most easily done if I applied the adhesive to the corners of the lashes first, and tapped them down on the eyelids. The manufacturers’ instructions recommend that users should clean the adhesive off the lashes after use, and it’s common sense to do that, but the makers did not say how best to do it, information that I would have appreciated, such as,oh, I don’t know, use nail polish remover for the job. (And no, no, no, I am not actually telling you to use nail polish remover to do the job.) These lashes are somewhat pricier than the usual combo of false lashes/adhesive. But they do provide a pretty look for special occasions, and might make a nice small gift. Recommended.

Very Natural Looking, Glue Holds Up Well
Lashes are great and very natural looking for strip lashes. The band was a little thicker than I like for lash strips, but once applied, it didn't stand out much at all. I wasn't expecting much from the glue that was included since I normally just use my Duo adhesive for lashes, but thought I'd give this one a go. It was more runny than I was used to, and it took a little while longer to get tacky so I could apply the lash, but it held up all day (14 hours) without peeling up at the edges, so I was pleased (it's white and dries clear, fyi.) The case it comes in it neat, but it's somewhat bulky for one set of lashes and glue. It would be nice if I could lift the clear compartment to store something else in there - hairpins or other lash strips - so that it doesn't take up so much room in my make up kit.

Terrible Glue
Let me start off by saying that I am not an everyday or even every month user of false eyelashes. I have only previously used them for Halloween or theatrical productions. So my dexterity at using them may very greatly from yours if you are a devotee. In addition my natural lashes are very long which may have made the process of applying the falsies harder. As it was this has taken me up to three tries per eye ( you would think I would get better, at least on the second eye!) to apply correctly without the lashes being strangly tilted, glue stuck to my lid or noticeable drying gobs of the glue stuck to the lashes. I didn't cut them down at all because the instructions dont say to and I wanted to review the product as it was intended.I have two problems with these, one minor and one big one. The minor problem is that unlike lashes I have previously tried the individual strands are attached together by a very small strand, not a narrow band. This makes them more flexible and also makes glue placement a tricky thing. My major beef with these is the glue. The quality of it is terrible. It sticks to everything, quickly becoming a stringy mess. And the applicator needs a far smaller opening as it tends to blob on with slightest pressure. On the bright side the case these come in is quite nice and the lashes are resilient lay holding up to my unskilled fumbling.

Great Lashes and Carrying Case!
These arrived just in time for my Vegas trip :)Love the case; it's super sturdy and well designed and will definitely ensure that you get multiple uses out of these lashes since it encourages you to put them away when finished wearing. The lashes are wonderful too and I really liked this style for a very dramatic, thick and long lashed eye.Not so crazy about the glue that came with these beauties. Had I tried it out before having left for vacation, I probably would have swapped it out for one of my own preference. I had problems controlling the flow of this glue; it had a tendency flow fine and then without warning, spurt out in big globs and I consider myself someone with a steady hand. Aside from that minor inconvenience, I really enjoyed these Winks and will look for more :)

Very Pretty But the Glue is Watery
These lashes are so glamorous, precisely what you want something like this to be. I was able to put them on without much difficult, although I did have to trim them down a bit. The glue that comes with the lashes was a bit watery. I recommend squeezing some out and letting it dry a bit to become more tacky, then use a toothpick to apply it to your lashes. The glue also does not wash off easily, not from the lashes themselves or the eyelid. Be prepared to really spend some time removing the residue. They come in a case that allows you to store your lashes and keep them pristine; there is also a space to store the glue, as you can see in the picture. In the end, the lashes look great, and I definitely know I'll have fun with them.
