KAKA Backpack for 17-Inch Laptops - Black

Being that the price was so low i thought that for sure it wouldn't be a very well made pack, boy was i wrong. The zippers on this pack make me wish i had them on everything else. They have a silky smooth glide to them. The reason I was looking to get a new pack was for work, hauling my work laptop around. I had a Wenger pack when I was in college, and that was a very good one and held up for quite some time and this new pack seems no different in that regard. The first thing i did was test out its comfort with some books and my home laptop, which all fit beautifully i might add. After some quick adjustments to the staps (which took all of 4 seconds) I was set. I wore it around the house for a while and while doing some pool maintenance. The straps have no spots that dig into your shoulders like some others that i have worn in the past, which made me quite pleased. I have now been using it for a couple weeks to and from work and it has been great to do so. Time will tell for certain on how durable it really is. The only "issue" i could really come up with was that the front large pocket (just above the KAKA symbol on the front of the pack) is a bit strange. The reason i say this is because it has a zipper on the the top half and an inner pocket for pens and whatnot at the top of that top half. Being that is like that you don't expect the pocket to extend all the way to the bottom of the pack (or near it). It's not a bad thing, just unexpected by the look of the pocket when it is opened up and looked at. I almost "lost" my "work-from-home" usb key because i didnt think that bottom part existed and it had hopped up out of the pencil holder area. All in all, i love this new pack!

I purchased the backpack a few months ago and wanted to use before writing a review. I've used it everyday for work. I work in an office so it mostly holds my laptop, jacket,tablet, etc. The backpack is tall. This isn't issue for me but i was surprised by the length. This is a great backpack. Nice quality. Zippers work great. I really like the two deep water bottle pockets with straps to secure the water bottle. It's nice to see a bag that can hold a larger bottle. I can fit my 20oz insulated Klean Kanteen bottle with plenty of room. The straps are nice and soft and the bag disperses the weight well. I used the bottom pocket for chargers. It is perfect for that. The laptop compartment is huge. I have two complaints. One is the name KaKa must be my background because I almost didn't buy the bag because of the name. Yes this isn't a real problem just an issue for me. Good thing the logo is small and easily covered up by a button. My other complaint is it needs more zippered compartments inside the two larger compartments.Would really help with organization.A great bag and a really great value. After owning a few Timbuk2 bags I don't think I can justify the higher price tag.

OK, so I've had this bag for about 6 years now and finally decided to write a review. PROS: very durable. I spent 2 years traveling Europe plus countless trips since and this bag still looks brand new. Endless planes, trains and buses and no issues at all. Tons of pockets to keep things organized without being too many pockets, distinctive enough appearance that I never found myself wondering if someone had grabbed my bag, and it fits every economy flight under seat requirement I've flown. The padding is great for your laptops. I carried 3 in the laptop slot (2x17" and 1x13") and never worried about breaking a screen. CONS: this thing is HOT. I mean sweating waiting for a train in Scotland in January hot. Take off your jacket in Dublin in February hot. Things might have gotten updated since it's obviously been a few years, but something to keep in mind. The only other con for this bag is it really doesn't fit much. I could get a toiletry bag and maybe a few shirts along with the laptops and that's about it. If you're looking for a laptop only bag and don't mind that it's warm, this will last forever. If you want a weekender bag and are looking to avoid paying for a checked/carry on bag, I'd maybe look elsewhere.

This is a GREAT backpack. Has 10 different pockets and compartments to stash all kinds of things (including 2 differently sized mesh bottle holders on the outside). It's well padded which makes it heavier than other backpacks that I've used, but it is very sturdy (time will tell if the stitches will hold up) . The main zipper on my last backpack gave out and I needed something that would hold different items and be sturdy and comfortable to carry on my back. I was a picky shopper because I wanted something similar under $30, I hadn't purchased a backpack for 10 years, and you never know what you're going to get online until it's delivered. I like the black color of this pack because it doesn't attract attention. Also like the strong handle which is ribbed for a good grip. A minor con: a tag inside the main compartment was close to the zipper and got caught on it. I cut it off so not a big deal.Also it's nice that a combination lock to secure the two zippers of the main compartment comes with the backpack, but if someone really wants know what's inside they can easily cut through the canvas with scissors or a knife. Not a major concern because I don't let the bag out of my sight unless it's stored safely

I love this backpack.The reason I love this backpack is because of its durability and usefulness. I originally bought this in 2016 because i got a laptop that was 17” and much too large for any other bag. Since then, this backpack has travelled the world with me, through airports, through college, and now every day to work, carrying two laptops a full size keyboard, and a mouse (along with a change of clothes since I bike to work). What an incredibly made backpack and it deserves this review even if they never sell it again. Thank you, Kaka!

La mochila es de color negro, debía ser gris claro como en la Foto, los remates son rojos y deberían de ser azules claritos, el modelo es otro totalmente diferente, esta mochila parece de chico y la otra de la foto es más de chica, por dentro es gris y debía de ser azul. Todo es distinto pero hay que fijarse bien claro… me estropearon el regalo de reyes de mi hija la devuelvo y me envían otra peor y mas fea para su gusto. Y encima mañana no tiene mochila para ir al cole. Estoy muy descontenta con la compra. Sino tienen la mochila de la Foto que lo digan y la cambien que no hay cosa que moleste más a las personas que compramos por Amazon a y además ahora la han subido el precio de 15€ a 25€. Por supuesto no la volveré a comprar, pero voy q reclamar una compensación por todo…Menuda pérdida de tiempo y de dinero . Solo hay que comprobar las cosas antes de enviarlas, mal servicio también por su parte. Una vez se entiende, 2 ya no, tengo que poner una estrella porque sino no me deja enviar la reseña pero vamos ninguna le doy.

La mochila es sencilla, tengo 2 meses de uso ligero, unos 3 viajes en avión y ya empezó a tener descosturas, debí haber comprado la mochila que realmente quería. No es para uso rudo, tiene volumen amplio de carga pero no dudo ni tantito que se rompa con el tiempo.
