Good maple cure
Good bacon cure. I've made 27 pounds worth of bacon using this cure so far. If you want a stronger maple flavor add maple syrup to the pork belly. I recommend soaking for 2 to 4 hours after rinsing.

Can't taste the flavor....
I smoked 4 separate batches of bacon using this one plus 3 of another brand I bought at the same time.Perhaps a real foodie could tell the difference, but we can't. They all taste like bacon and without the labels on the packages, none of us could tell one from the other.

Really like it
Tried a few brands this is my favorite. Cure comes in packets for 5 lb batches would be better if 1 sealable pack to weigh out.

Quality control wasn’t very good
Didn’t particularly care for product. Maybe due to the way it looked when I received it. Product lookedLike it had been to war and back. Packaging look old not too good of impression on first order probably last
