Santa Cruz Organic Chocolate Flavored Syrup, 15.5 Ounces

Well Hershes is what most people grew up with and compare to but you dont want to eat that stuff as it is not good for you. Here is an all natural organic product that taste great. Very similar to Hersheys but even better in some ways. Yes it has lots of organic sugar so dont complain about that, but at least you are putting an all natural organic product in you . Good job Santa Cruz. One complaint was one bottle we got the safety seal leaked so we had to return it. Other than that, SOLD!

This is an Extremely Thick, rich chocolate syrup. You have to microwave it for thirty seconds (per instructions-not my recommendation, although it is true) I use it when I make chocolate ice cream in my ice cream machine. Flavor is great, not as sweet as Hershey’s syrup. You can actually taste the cocoa. I think this is better whether you are making hot fudge brownies, adding chocolate to purchased vanilla ice cream, or on hot fudge cake. Makes great chocolate milk. It is THICK, not watered down. It does require the thirty second microwave warm-up. The flavor is really robust.

I so much appreciate the reviewers who mentioned how thick it is. I squeezed all of it into a 2-cup Pyrex bowl that has a cover and placed it in the fridge the first time opening. It will be easy to warm and spoon out this way. Good ingredients and flavor. I especially like this syrup on coffee ice cream.

I used it in my coffee to make a mocha coffee but the last several times I have added to my list, we did not get...so I switched to Torani coffee syrup. No problem getting that in my Kroger order.

My kids and I love this! Since we are dairy free, this is an amazing alternative.

The sugar flavor comes through more than the chocolate flavor. They should use less sugar.

I tried this syrup, although it’s hard to compete with the Swensens consistency, my favorite. This one hits the spot as a substitute, and the taste is OK, but once it’s refrigerated it’s impossible to take it out of the bottle. The syrup seems like the perfect consistency until you warm it up, then it’s just soupy. I guess they are assuming people will warm this up in the microwave (Plastic container in killer over, no thanks!) For the trouble of getting watery syrup out of this corset of a bottle, I way as well poison myself with the real deal, Swensen’s Hot Fudge syrup.
