Plantronics GameCom 318 , Gaming Headset with Flip Boom Mic , Use For Games and Chat on PC

As stated before the picture is misleading these are wired headphones. My husband and I bought the ones in the picture from the actual company and they are wireless and amazing. These wired ones the headset itself is like the one I have that is wireless. The jack on these ones that are wired is crap my daughter has already had hers break off, lucky we got it out of her pc without any harm done. If you are looking to get these I recommend them for the price you cant beat a wireless set. That being said buy from the main supplier not from another seller, unless you read comments and assure yourself they aren't selling the wired set. Where the jack isn't very durable. We have had these about 2 weeks. Shes 10 and not perfect but we didn't read comments and so yea. I'll be waiting till the others are back in stock..

My 12 year old son purchased this and loved it for the first month. He periodically complained that one side of the headset was not functioning well & then just 1 month after purchase the sound on one side completely went out. We sent it back.

Excellent product, I can make my skype meeting and listen to music with high quality. The sound is great

Small but high quality. These fit very snug on ears but the quality is great.

I like it enough. The sound is okay and the microphone is good for VOIP applications (online classes). I don't keep it on for no more than 2hrs at a time though, because beyond that it tend to hurt my ears a bit.

The headset is okay. The audio is okay. We bought a few of these because they were on sale and really cheap. They're to be used in an office setting. Be wary. We bought 7 of these. None of them came with the necessary PC mic adapter so with what it comes with, it's only a headset. The mic will not work on a PC since the PC has separate mice and headset jacks. the adapter will connect to the single cable of the headset and separate the mic and headset audio into 2 cables so you can use on a PC as a headset and a mic. The description was deceiving as it implied that it works on the PC out of the box as a headset and mic. So factor in the cost of buying the pc mic adapter if you decide to purchase this.

Generally, I like Plantronics, which is why I bought it. However, after a bit of troubleshooting, it appears that the combo to PC audio splitter that connects the headset to the PC is not functioning on the microphone side. It's useable as a backup cell phone headset, but the mic doesn't work for the PC.....disappointing.....FOLLOW UP: I purchased an after market combo to PC audio adapter and the headset works just fine with it. So, there's no doubt that the supplied adapter was faulty. I then disassembled the supplied adapter and found it was very flimsy construction. In my estimation, even if it did initially work correctly, it would eventually fail with regular use. The headset itself might have worked as expected but, since this is being marketed as a gaming headset, the components need to not only be reliable, but durable. Based upon this, I'm going to downgrade my review. I generally like Plantronics, but I believe they need to improve their build quality on this product.

It's okay I guess. If you are looking for a cheep headset, do get it. The sound quality is good but there is very minimal cancelling of other sounds. If you have a moderately loud keyboard and 30% volume, you will hear the keyboard very clearly. Compared to the 388 (which this replaced because I couldn't afford to get the exact same one), this headset is terrible compared. The ear cups press forward too much for me and are generally not big enough. They press quite firmly against my temples and makes me ear lobes a little itchy: You might have the same problem.If it annoys me too much over the next 12 hours, I will send it back and refund it then I'll replace it with a different headset with a different brand.

I'll give this headset 4 stars for a few reasons, It was only a cheap set so I wasn't exactly expecting wonders from it and it certainly pulled it's weight for 20ish pound. It's relatively comfortable and is adjustable for those with massive heads like myself. The microphone itself is rather crap, and can have trouble picking my voice up unless I'm loud, and then we get to the earphones which I love and hate, they have great sound quality but poor muffling, and so if You play an music or games while in a skype or teamspeak per say they'll often hear either themselves of the game/music your on which is annoying as hell. The volume sliders also a bit crap since you either get medium or ear-rape setting only, and at the least the cord was nice and long in case your sound port was far away or you fancied using them as headphones. Overall it was a great headset to get while I saved up for a more expensive replacement, but I wouldn't recommend one in the long run at all.

Volume coming through earphones is very high but easy to adjust. Very comfortable to wear. Supplied adapter lets you choose to use with either a single or double socket input/output laptop/phone/tablet etc.

brilliant as a wired headset. I use it with my mobile phone for telephone conferences.

Habe nicht besonders viel erwartet, aber ich wurde überrascht, berücksichtigt man den Preis, Bin sehr zufrieden. Man hört mich sehr gut, ich höre die andern sehr gut, der Ton ist für mich mehr als ausreichend und vor allem sitzen sie wunderbar. Stundenlang an PS4 mit Kopfhören ging nie so gut wie mit diesen Kopfhörern, ich merke sie quasi gar nicht (während und nach dem zocken ). Noch nie gehabt, auch nicht bei teuren Modellen. Totale Kaufempfehlung.
