Sealey SG18 Air Operated Wax Injector Kit, 1/4"

Sprays very well. Works efficiently and well to do exactly what it should (using Tetroseal wax oil diluted with 15-20% white spirit; but warming the wax oil should work just as well). Frankly amazed at the ease of use first time around.

Sealey tech support resolved my issue very promptly and completely. Buy with confidence as they are an honorable company.Screw thread for pressure pot was tight but eventually wore so it could be hand tightened to form a seal.Nozel leaked a little when tested with white spirit. Hopefully will seal with waxoyl.The following is a copy of my original review...Cracked case, air leaks, poor spray.The main body had a crack in which leaks air and there doesn't appear to be a reliable spray. Returned for replacement. Will update review when the replacement is tested.

Well worth the money. Have just used to waxoil the cavities in my VW van. Superb - so much more controllable than Waxoil's pump-up sprayer, much less wastage and a better result. Using this you get a better spray pattern and the saving on the wasted waxoil will buy you the SG18 with money to spare. Extremely high quality and robust - will last a lifetime.

Sprayed ACF-50 okay, despite being quite thin really needed 80psi to spray effectively with sill lance. However, don't let this sit on it's side at all even for a moment otherwise you get fluid back into the air line. It seems the container is directly pressurised all the time, the trigger being on the output. The sill lance whilst neatly curled in the box is a real pain when trying to feed it into the sills of a car or van. Would be better with a hose that straightens easier, or at all.

After trying to spray hot and thinned kwaxoyl into car body sections with other sprayers and failing, used this no problems at all. Highly recommended.If there is one criticism it would be that the plastic tubing for spraying in the body sections could be stiffer to allow easier access.
