Redken Chemistry Shot Phase Color Extend Deep Treatment, 16.89 Fl Oz

I finally got around to using this the other day and the direction say not to wash it out. I disagree with that 110%. I say wash it out because I didnt and it left my hair feeling disgusting like I had stuff stuck in it. When I use it again I am definitely washing it out.

I was charged $20 at the salon to get this treatment. I have to condition my hair a great deal and protect the protein levels because of the blonde. I've used it three times with varied times per other reviews. Anywhere from the listed 3-5 minutes and up to 30 minutes for deep treatment. I can't say that the times really made much of a difference. I purchased It's A 10 leave in spray and that helps keep things under control and is so far keeping my hair from breaking off. Not only did I hit very early menopause, but I went very blonde at the same time and I lost about 3" in length from breakage. So far, I'm still on the fence. I matched this with 3.5 phix.

My hairdresser told me this product would be a game changer for my previously over processed, damaged hair. She was right! One squirt and my hair is soft, shiny and manageable. I like that it goes on after hair is shampooed and towel dried.

Directions need to be amended. Beware that the bottle says to leave this treatment in (no rinse). However, if you use Redken Phix Phase after/with this product as intended, Phix Phase is designed to be washed out. This implies that Shot Phase is also intended to be washed out but only after Fix Phase has been applied to the hair. This is not a leave-in treatment as I thought I was buying. The first clue was that the instructions on this product state to use FIVE PUMPS. Are you kidding me? I have long, thick hair but no way can I use more than 1 or 2 pumps. If I were to use it as a leave-in treatment, two pumps would be way too much. FIVE PUMPS? Trying to sell product much, Redken?It does make my hair feel nice, but when used with Phix Phase (and rincs it all out as instructed) I actually LOSE a lot of my natural curl (it flattens my hair).

ULTA salons use this product asadeep conditioning treatment for their salon clients but they don't sell it in their stores. They charge around $17 per treatment so when you consider how many treatments are in this bottle this is SUCH a bargain! It makes your hair so soft and its effects last for a week or two (after several shampoos). Make sure to get the redken spray that goes with it as it is a two part conditioning process (redken states the spray activates the conditioner). You only use a couple pumps per treatment so this will last a long long time. It's ends up being such a bargain in the end.

This stuff is amazing!! I use it every 1-2 weeks. My hair was in bad shape after I got a perm. This has really helped get my hair in better condition! Love it!

This product makes my hair look and behave amazing. I have shine and so much body in my normally limp, stringy hair. I do not know what I would do without it. My hairdresser said it is ok to use once a week.

Please read directiobs as this is a two part protein treatment. This brought my platinum up a notch to being shiny soft mermaid hair. Little goes a long way so ita beyond worth the pricw. Plus this treatment only tales 5 minutes I mean its convenient

The item arrived on time.Well packaged.My hair was very damaged from dying it so many times.After going to a hairdresser she advised me to try redken chemistry shot phase.So I did.Didnt believe that anything could help my hair at this stage,but this did wonders on my hair,its so soft shiny it doesnt frizz anymore,so easy to brush my hair.I used chemistry shot phase extreme,all soft and colour extend as i was told that i could combine 3 at the time.Kept it on for about 7 mins and then sprayed Chemistry shot phix ph3.5.I only blow dryed the hair after the treatment. I would recommend this product for those who doesnt want to spend alot going for a dressers ,but still want to have healthy hair.

I first tried this at my hairdressers and my hair loves it. For years I’ve spend lots of time and money buying products in the chemist/pharmacy only for my hair to still be a dry mess. This stuff is professional hair care and worth every penny (note its a two phase system)

This must be used with the Redken Chemistry Shot Phix. This has made a great difference to my hair. People have noticed how good it is looking and sitting now. My colour has lasted longer. Will be buying again.

This is simply the BEST hair treatment out there!! Only use it once or twice a month because if you use I too often then you will do the opposite and damage your hair. This is protein and too much can make your hair break so that’s why you should only use it once a month. This will make your hair feel like silk.
