LG WCD-100 Official Wireless Desktop Charger Dock for LG G3 (White)

In case anyone is wondering, this does NOT let me place my LG G3 horizontally across this, but it works well standing vertically. I will say that one annoyance, at least with the Verizon LG G3 is that it always turns off the display when you first put the phone on the charger. Then even if you turn the display on, the display turns off again when the battery reaches 100%. This means the phone can't be used perfectly as a bed-side clock as I hoped. I still use it, but it's incredibly annoying. I don't know if that's a design decision to let the phone charge faster (by turning off the display), but it's annoying to have my bed-side clock go dark and have to turn it on again.

After almost two years of use, I couldn't be more pleased. A couple things to note, I don't use a case on my phone of any kind. I bought a generic replaceable back plate that had all 4 pins to allow for wireless Qi charging, since the original one I bought from Verizon didn't include it. The only way I've ever used it, and I think it's the only way it was really designed for, is by placing my phone on the stand vertically, with the bottom of the phone resting on the lip. I leave it on my night stand next to my bed so I can just set it on there to charge while I sleep, without having to plug it in each night. It works perfectly, just as I had envisioned. For those who want something that works with the phone laying flat, check out the powerbot pucks - if you haven't already - they work great in that scenario. I've never had an issue with this cradle not charging my phone. Works great!

I've been using this charger for about a month now. I'm sort of disappointed in the design and how my phone charges using it.Pros:1. It works... and it doesn't seem to overheat my phone.Cons:1. Cord must be inserted at a downward angle, taking more time for the precision of plugging it in.2. Phone must charge upright and cannot be laid down flat to charge. (this here is very annoying if you're using the circle case (or other portfolio cases), as many do not have something to keep the flap closed. After using the phone for a while, while having the flap folded back, when you put it on the charger, the flap won't stay closed, in fact it's wide open. (Strange design since many people need to buy the circle case with the receiver if their phone's back cover does not have 4 pins.) Note: Make sure you buy the right case for your phone and that the back cover of it has 4 pins (the cheap $10~15 ones probably won't have any pins on it).3. The phone often gives a notice that it isn't aligned on the dock correctly; therefore, the phone starts charging at a very slow rate. My guess is is that the spot it sends the Qi to is very small in order not to waste energy to heat. But it's wasting time and energy since it has to charge longer. The phone even give this warning after you've positioned the phone right, and it's been changing for over 40 minutes. The phones hasn't been touched or moved, but now it's misaligned (makes no sense).

Works well with my G3 but does require me to take the case off of my phone. I purchased my wireless charging back from S Korea. I wish it would charge with the phone placed horizontally but it only works vertically. It appears to be OEM, so it should stand-up well - I've had mine only two weeks. Keep in mnd that it will only work with T-mobile, Sprint and Verizon models. The ATT version DOES NOT accept Qi wireless charging and all US versions require you to purchase a separate wireless charging back.

This is an amazing concept and I was really excited to be able to wirelessly charge my phone without having to unplug and plug it in every time i removed/replaced my phone on the cradle.I have a (US) LG G3 with the Quick Circle Qi Wireless Charging CaseI hate to give a bad review, but this thing does not work well, unfortunately.First and foremost, this cradle does not hold your phone very securely. The phone slips and slides EVERY TIME you touch the screen.More importantly, the "sweet spot" for the wireless charging appears to be very small. I could not get it to charge in landscape mode at all. In portrait, I constantly found myself repositioning my phone to get it to match up with the charging coil on the dock. More often than not, my phone would slowly trickle charge while beeping and telling me every 30 seconds or so (no exaggeration) to move my phone to the center of the charging hot spot.I think a large part of this is truly a design error on LG's part. The Desktop Charger is flat, while the back of the G3 is more curved. It may make it harder for the induction coils to see each other. This is, of course, speculation.In any case, I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless charging solution or a dock. Very disappointing considering the quality of phone and the other accessories for this phone.

I was so looking forward to this. I dislike cables. It worked great the first few days, but will only charge for less than a minute now before it stops charging. I've checked the connections, tried various outlets and cables, as well as the placement on the stand, but nothing changes. I pick up the phone and set it back down, finding just the right position where it will start to accept a charge, but again it is on for brief period of time. I've researched it and tried many different things prior to posting a negative review in hopes it was something I was doing wrong and not the charger.I have a generic one I purchased for in the bedroom that works fine, so I know it isn't the phone. I have the G3 and thought the LG charger would be a better fit than the generic. Sadly, for me, that is not the case.11-19-2014 UPDATED: It seems to be working again...for now. I am hoping it was just a hiccup those few days, but I am watching it closely. It has worked two days in a row now and charged fully overnight. I'd change my score to two stars if I could, as long as it continues to work. Too iffy for any more stars

Excellent idea. it works very well with my LG G3, charges without having to plug in to the phone. I was not sure if it would work with my phone, as all the information I could find about it looked as if I needed to get the circle case on my LG in order to charge it. Well if you found the same thing, do not worry, it fits and charges perfectly just as the phone is without needing the circle case. The only down point is that it does take a long time to fully charge - which is no problem to me, as I charge it overnight, and, slow charge is not that surprising as there is no direct contact to the phone by lead. You need the LG USB lead that came with your phone. One thing I will point out to potential buyers - the connecting lead into the phone only fits if you insert it at an angle. At first I thought mine was broken as I could not insert it, then my son suggested it probably has to be inserted at an angle! Absolutely right. So go ahead - this purchase is well worth the money. I have added a photo of the connector to show the angle.

Ganz klar 5 Sterne weil:1. Sehr schön, wenn das Handy drauf steht2. Praktisch:* da man durch die senkrechte Stellung meist sofort trifft,einfach hinlegen und gut. (nicht wie bei z.B. Samsung Ladegeräten, wo ich doch immer wieder genau herumspielen mußte um die Position zu finden.)* da es durch die fast senkrechte Position wenig Platz am Tisch einnimmt und man auch gleich sieht, wenn eine Nachricht kommt.3. Dies ist der Hauptvorteil !!!! A.) NEXUS 7 - Es funktioniert auch mit Nexus 7 2013 ohne Probleme oder Überhitzung perfekt! (trotz Origami-Hülle: diese geht auch im Hochformat aufzustellen) Einfach mittig draufstellen und gut ist es. B.) Galaxy S5 (mit original Induktionscover) - besser als die Originalstation. Einfach verkehrt herum draufstellen. Sieht aus wie dafür gemacht. Vor allem bei der Weissen Version vom S5. Allerdings braucht es nun etwas länger, da bei der Galaxy Induktionsstation ein stärkeres Ladegerät dabei war. Ist jedoch egal.+ Mit einem 'S5 SlimPWRcard - 0.5 mm Qi Wireless Lade-Empfänger' und dem dünnen Originalrückendeckel + alternativer Version von S-View Cover geht es auch (allerdings wegen Hitzeentwicklung wieder ummontiert)+ Mit einem dickeren Cover nochmals über dem Induktions-Rückendeckel funktioniert die LG Ladestation allerdings nicht mehr. Da braucht es dann doch wieder die Originale Station von Samsung. C.) LG G3 - funktioniert natürlich auchEndlich alle Geräte mit einer Ladestation. Nochmal: finde ich praktischer als die flachen kleinen vom Galaxy S5Alle Geräte auf einer Station und nie wieder anstecken müssen !!!!!!!!

Pas le moins cher, pas le mieux dôté (aucun cable ou transfo) mais fonctionne parfaitement avec le LG G3, avec ou sans coque ! Contrairement aux pads de recharge où l'on pose son téléphone, ici, pas de positionnement idéal à trouver. On pose le G3 sur le dock, la zone de recharge est toujours bien alignée et c'est parti pour une recharge un peu plus lente mais efficace. Perso, je recharge pendant la nuit... Le matin pas de câble à déconnecter, on attrape son G3 et c'est parti !

Excelente base. No trae cable pero funciona a la perfección con el original de LG. Carga la batería rápida y cómodamente.

Nella scatola è presente solo il caricatore wireless, ne cavo usb ne adattatore alimentazione, bisogna quindi usare quello in dotazione con lo smartphone, comunque la basetta è molto pratica si può tenere aperta o chiusa (verticale o orizzontale) , l'accoppiamento con il cellulare è immediato ed è segnalato con un bip e la visualizzazione della batteria in ricarica sullo smartphone, sicuramente i tempi di ricarica sono molto più lunghi ma la praticità sta nel poter utilizzare il terminale, nel mio caso un lg g3 con quick circle compatibile qi, senza preoccuparsi del filo. Ottimo prezzo e spedizione velocissima da Amazon.it
