Love will triumph
A nice story of two lifeguards in Western Australia who after all the odds finally fall in love, Liam a beefy ex Aussie rules footballer and Cody a Canadian Australian twenty year old as trainee. Liam is truly scared of anyone finding his real sexual preferences but Cody is out and not too worried about who knows it. It takes a long time to get intimate but it is well worth the wait.Cody shines as a trainee and through many rescues and dangerous situation not to mention injuries They can no longer deny their love despite their 14 year age difference.A thoroughly tale of hiding and coming out and dealing with homophobia. I did enjoy the book.

Wonderful!
Thoroughly enjoyed this, just what the doctor ordered.Humour, slow build hot romance, diverse, interesting, believable characters and what I would imagine was a good insight into the role of a lifeguard in Australia. All with a thread of homophobia running through it.Really liked the MC's and think the front cover depicts them perfectly. Not too heavy a read despite the angst Liam feels throughout most of the book, the drama from the rescues and the emotional drama too.Another goodie by this author.Recommended.

More than the sun was scorching.
Another great book from Keira, she hasn't disappointed me yet. I adored Cody and Liam their chemistry was scorching, I spent a a lot of the book wanting to give Liam a hug, the struggle he goes through trying to accept himself and his desires was heart breaking at times. The depiction of the lifeguards was very well done, it really was like watching Bondi rescue the small details will really ring true if you've ever seen the show.I'd really recommend this book if your looking for a hot romance with a big emotional pull.

Lush love story
I loved this story so much. How Liam overcame his embarrassment about who he was and Cody supporting him the whole time. The other characters were all really likeable and the bond between all the friends was written really well. I'd have liked Mia to be a bit more of the story with Cody. It's nice how it wasn't a perfect happy ending and that his Liam's parents still were not on his side, made it more realistic. Deffo worth a read!

Another belter
I am a big fan of Keira's books anyway so I was looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint. I loved Cody and Liam and was rooting for them from the get go. It is an interesting twist to see the younger guy taking the lead and finding love under the Australian sun. Fantastic.

Enjoyable
Really like the authors writing and although it took me a little while to get into the story, it picked up its momentum and I enjoyed Cody and Liam's journey.

Good enough
The setting, entire cast of characters and social environment is so clearly described that it is a pleasure to read.I had a bit of a problem with the sex scenes, they felt exaggerated and didn’t gel with the personalities as they had been developed up to that point.I’m also a bit weary of the prevalent trend for inappropriate BDSM in books of this type. It shouldn’t be used to ‘spice up’ all stories.Like adding salt when cooking, unless it is extremely well handled, too much may spoil everything.
