I bought this because my in-laws have a dog they spoiled rotten. They treat it like a human and give it absolute authority in the house. Not my dog so whatever not my problem. HOWEVER, when said dog decides to park itself at my room and snap at me when I try to walk past it, it becomes my problem. So I buy this in hopes of dealing with the problem.When it happened again, I lightly pressed the trigger to spray a test spritz into the air and then I waited. The dog didn't react immediately but after 3 minutes it seemed irritated. Seeing a result, I sprayed HARD into the carpet (Never spray on the dog!) fully pressing down on the trigger twice. The dog hates the scent and leaves. IT WORKED! In the past the dog would and could sit there for HOURS blocking me in or out and I just had to deal with it so this was a fantastic purchase.With time the dog learned to respect me and my space and I learned to love the dog. And I'd like to think a good portion of that mutual respect came from using this product to teach boundaries.P.S. It really doesn't smell like anything unless you smell really hard with your nose against the spray area.

We have five dogs - all inside while we are gone. They use to rip and tear and fo something awful - especially the lab. Now they are PERFECT. We spray each time we leave and they behave. What a joy.

Hands down, this is a great product to keep my mom's cat from scratching her couch. It has an undetected smell to humans, but the cat doesn't like it. He hasn't scratched the couch since first applying it. Great training aid for cats

I used spray to prevent my cat from getting on all my front porch chair cushions. Spray every morning and evening. I think my cat loves it. He just moved from one chair to the other and just rolls around.

I don’t know if it’s just my cat or the spray, but this did absolutely nothing to keep my cat off of the shelves. My cat is very stubborn and does not like to listen, so that very well might be it.
