It had very thin material and the tail was velcro so it come off too easy.

Super cute costume! Purchased 12-18 month for my 1 yr old son. he is about 21 lbs and 30 inches tall. It fit him from crotch to shoulder just fine. The legs and arms are a little long on him. If your child has a long torso and is taller, it might be a little tight in the body. There is enough room for additional clothes underneath which is perfect for fall weather in the midwest. The hat that came with it was just okay, which is why I only gave 4 stars. You have to put it on the top of your kid's head as shown in the advertised picture so ears are not covered. Since it can be rather cold here, I opted for ordering a knit sock monkey had from etsy for $16 which turned out WAYYY cuter than what came with the costume. He will wear it through winter so it was worth the extra purchase. Absolutely adorable! Definitely recommend.

My son is built like a football player - broad shoulders and solid. He is in between a 12 to 18 months in his clothes (12 months in pants and 18 months in shirts depending on brand). This costume was ADORABLE, and it fit him, but if he was a solid 18 months, it would have been to snug. It BARELY fit him. He looked sooooo stinking' cute! My biggest struggle was keeping the hat on which is not a product defect, but instead an obstinate 1 year old issue! He got so many compliments while wearing it! The quality was good. Delivery was fast. I would definitely buy again.

My little guy looked great in this! The hat was pretty big for him, but the outfit fit great. He got many compliments on Halloween. I just wish he would have kept the hat on better, but what do you expect from a toddler?I always wait until I have used an item for at least five days before reviewing it. I also try to come back and update my reviews as needed if something changes with the product and how I liked it. I hope that you find my review helpful when trying to make a decision whether or not to purchase an item.

This costume was great for our son's 1st Halloween. It was very inexpensive, but well made.The tail kept coming off, but I think the blame falls on me for that.It's definitely on the bigger side, at 8 mths my son was wearing 12 mth clothing. I didn't want to risk it being too small, but this is better fit on a little one who wears a bit bigger than 12 months.I would have given 5 stars, but the material is really thin. We live in wyoming, so Halloween is cold here. Because it was so big, he wore full clothing underneath.Its perfect if you live in a warmer climate though!

It fit him so well and he looked so cute. The best Part was every where we went he was the only sock monkey. Loved the costume.

Costume is absolutely adorable. Shipped in an envelope not a box which unfortunately crushed one of the bubble eyes. If we were not in the middle of a pandemic, I would have returned it because of the damage. Instead I ordered new costume eyes on Amazon and hope to repair it myself. Otherwise, the costume is charming and of good quality. Use a box to ship next time!

Adorable and exactly what I expected for the price. This is a Halloween costume, so you're mistaken if you think you'll ever purchase a costume that's as good of quality as something you would wear everyday. Perfect for one night, and I'm glad I didn't have to spend much. A lot of reviews mentioned their little one pulling the tail off since it is only held on with Velcro. My suggestion...use a safety pin to secure it better. I had no problems with this costume and it made for some cute pictures! I was worried that my larger 15 month old would be too big for the 18 month size, but it fit him great, even with a thin layer of clothes underneath.

Super cute and perfect fit. Fit better than expected! Tail is only attached by Valero but can always be reinforced. Overall very happy!

Get a size up just to be safe!

Hat is of good quality, but the rest of the outfit is a felt-like scratchy thin fabric. Poor quality.
