iBELL 12V MAX Lithium Battery Charger (CD12-74)

This is a wonderful little machine. I've used it for the last few months and it is built to last. There is about 28Nm of torque which is plenty for household tasks. My bike has a torque of 28Nm only. 😜 It drives most of the screws with ease in 3-4 power setting. I like the grip and weight distribution. There are two modes. One as a screwdriver and other as a drill. In the drill mode it gets above 10000 rpm. Although there is no hammer drill setting, I used it to drill through a brick wall few times. It took some time but did the job. There is a nifty little light that illuminate s the drill area. Nice.There are two 12v three 18650 cell pack lithium ion batteries provided with a charger. With the spare, you can easily swap out in between jobs. Li ion batteries are better than NiCd batteries that you will generally find in low cost drills. There is also a sturdy ABS box provided that can keep all the acessories with the charger and some holders are there for drill bits. There is only one bit provided (with one extra steel bit). A starter pack was preferable but these are cheapily available from Stanley, bosch or local companies.I would recommend trying this brand than going for costlier alternatives. I had shortlisted the Black & Decker BDCD12. But it was bulky and didn't have enough torque or come with a spare battery. The Bosch GSR120-Li has got similar specs but is costlier by 2000 bucks. Can see many new brands popping up, like Ferm, Abbyhus, and others. Though this is a chinese rebranded product (well, every one of them are) it is quite durable and vfm. And ibell is a reputed brand here in Kerala.

Thank you Amazon for the timely and wonderful products in easy access.Being a Marine technician , i wanted a cordless drill driver for my sites, for simple easy task of drilling holes in FRP upto 6 mm.The ibell fitted my Budget and use, very similar model to a Bosch cordles 10.2 /12v model.( I have used them to).The ibell cordless driver drill came in a beautiful plastic case with the drill unit, 1 additional battery, 1 battery charger, 2 screw driver bits, 1 metal bit , 1 wall/concrete bit and the warranty paper and its manual.the unit is stable with a nice red and black colour body, with proper markings for the drill and bit driver speeds.the chuck is suitable for drill bits up to max 10 mm.there is forward and reverse action on push of a button behind the push switch/controller switch.there are 2 speed selector for the drill action, the switch is on top , a bit stiff though.The battery fitting was an issue, due to its plastic locks, the ibell service was good enough to reply and take action in less then 24 hours.Hats off to ibell, Kerala team for the prompt support , follow ups and service.There is a led light just above the trigger switch, which looks like falls short, but realized after multiple uses that the light fall perfect when using a large 8 mm drill length.I have already used it on 4mm thick FRP with a 28 mm hole saw, it works like charm.i have used it on concrete up to 5 mm and found no issues. i have very good quality drill bits of Bosch and black n Decker( from Dubai).I have used it on wood up to 10 mm for my door lock fitments, it works well.I have used it with the supplied drill bit with screw settings on 1 only and it is powerful enough to screw down a flat screw head of 2 inch x 3.5 mm over the hinge i fitted.no break downs or drill stoppage observed yet.The battery does last a good over 20 minutes at least on each heavy use.standby time on battery is good as i have charged them once, short use, store and reuse from site to site( approx 7 days and still it goes on).The battery charge indicator on the rear of the unit is quiet reliable for its indication. 3 levels as in picture.Charging time is less then 60 minutes on an empty battery.the charging lights do change once the charge is full.best part was the beautiful compact storage / travel box, light weight and with double battery back up.Verdict: Happy buyer with half the price for a branded with a very good Indian service provider.Recommended for home, workshops, sites were usage is restricted due to constant 230v wiring length is not around.

After contacting iBell with my problem (the battery charger was defective), they responded within hours via email and said they would send me a new battery charger right away at no charge. I am pleased and satisfied. Thank you very much. This is very good and prompt service and a sign of a good company and excellent customer service. While your battery charger was defective, your drill is excellent ( I was a cabinetmaker in the United States for decades and am a good judge of various tools and battery operated hand drills) and with a new confidence, I will order your products again.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Juat recived the product. The product seems powerful. But when looked into it, the box had a crack.. But i didnt mind, as far as product is good.2nd thing i noticed was the chuck and whole head is wobbling. Hence screws cant go straight.3rd thing was that, apart from chuck head, the flexible extension was also wobbling when used.4th thing was that one bit was also missing from the kit.Definately not impressed with the quality.I have summited the replacement request for the same . lets see what comes in the replacement.I will update my review after getting replacement, if they replace!!UPDATE-Got my replacement drill after 3 days.This time i m even more disappointed! The wabbling is still there in the chuck, but moreover, the replacement drill kitt doen not have even a single attachment. They took out every drill bit and screw bits. The box contains drill, battery, and charger. Rest everything is missing.Seriously waste of money and time over this garbage. Buy something else.
