Found Mr. Right and I couldn't be happier!
I was looking for a low impact way to exercise due to back problems. My doctor recommended swimming or rowing. After spending weeks researching rowing machines I settled on wanting a wooden model. But some prices were really high. The best price I found is the Mr. Right. It comes with everything you need. The rower, a digital montior/timer, a cover, and a water pump with tubing to fill the tank. The rower comes in 2 well packed. FedEx was rough on the boxes. Even dropping on on my driveway. But the inner packing is really well done. No damage to anything inside.Installation only took about an hour. I'm not a handy man with assembly and went slow and carefully. All the parts are there. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. And it comes with the only two tools you will need. This is an amazing machine. And works out ALL your major muscle groups. So far the key for me is to go slow and watch my form carefully. There's a lot of videos out there to coach and guide you. Go for it!Over all I'm really happy with the price, quality, and workout.

Not solid wood.
The product is listed as solid wood, it is not solid at all. It is a laminated wood/ply, with a paper thin oak grain laminated to the top of it. Certainly not worth the price. Other than that, it appears strong and well designed. $350-400 would be a value in my opinion.

Great rower, only downside is the monitor
I've been wanting to get a rowing machine for some time, especially due to the difficulty in getting proper exercise during Covid confinement. After extensive research, I settled for a wooden water rower, and chose Mr Right for it's beautiful design and great reviews.Note that Mr RIght rower is essentially the same product as Mr Rudolf and Mr Captain, only difference is the color combination and aesthetics. It came in two boxes, and I had a challenging time assembling it alone, and I did not manage it in one go. After it was put together, it was time to fill the water tank; the electric pump enclosed in the box seems cheap but it works real good. I even had other uses for it around my house (plumbing issues, etc.)Then I finally got down to my first workout. The rowing feels great, steady and quiet, excellent for posture training and rowing ergonomics. The wheeled seat rolls smooth, the handle has a comfy grip, and the foot board is sturdy and allows ample adjustment for the person's size. The only downside was the performance monitor. I was used to rowing on Concept2 machines at the gym, which have the famous PM5 computer attached, so I was expecting some accurate statistics on my performance. In fact, what the Mr Right monitor does is basically count your strokes, and then multiply by standard parameters to yield your distance, calories, etc. For instance, for every stroke you gain 6 meters, no matter how hard you pull. It's really frustrating to do a 20-minute workout and see the computer marking only 2200m (when I was at my top fitness a few years back, I'd complete a 2000m workout in about 8' to 8'30''). Hence, the monitor system appears to not sense the power of your stroke (wattage), so it can't calculate your basic Min/500M stats or accurately show distance and calories. The monitor's separate manual doesn't help either, it's impossible to understand how to operate the display based on it alone. I could not manage to connect to Bluetooth, though I downloaded the recommended app (Fitshow) to my Android phone. The app's interface is poor and unfriendly, and I could not find any use for it so far (I already use Samsung Health).Overall, I think it's a great rower, beautiful and sturdy, but I'm taking away 2 stars from the unsatisfactory performance monitor. The rowing experience is not complete, in my view, if you can't track your basic training stats.

Worth the money, great workouts.
This is a great rower, built with solid wood and easy to assemble. If you’re looking for a fun carpentry project, you can add a tablet (iPad) holder to this rower easily with 4 pieces of wood as well.

Right addition
Covid caused our buildings gym to shut down so we wanted to find a way to exercise off the “quarantine 15” with something that fits into our small Brooklyn apartment and looks aesthetically pleasing. After researching several rowers we choose Mr. Right due to its price and reviews. We looked at several rowers that cost twice as much and a couple that were slightly less expensive. Mr. Right checked all the boxes including our price point and quality reviews. So far we love it. Both my wife and I use it daily and it’s been absolutely great. It’s sturdy yet easy to set up and stow away within seconds. Only knock would be the directions to the computer which are gibberish. Just download the Fitshow app and sync with Bluetooth, which is simple.

The main product is made with a simple elegance and feels sturdy and destined to be long lasting
The main product is made with a simple elegance and feels sturdy and destined to be long lasting. Everything fit perfectly. The instructions were very well written. The only unfortunate shortcoming is that the computer did not connect with my phone via Bluetooth and thus, as of now, we can only use the onboard features. The sensation of rowing while using the machine is as realistic as it gets. Other than the inability to connect via Bluetooth and use the phone application created for it, I am very satisfied with the product.

Beautiful wood. Literally, that’s it.
Hoping to add stars.... However, I can only award 1 star for on-time arrival. I only received two pieces of (nice) wood.To be upfront, I am in no way a professional rower, never owned a rowing machine, either. So maybe I’m missing something. Is it a puzzle? Do I whittle the other parts out of the wood? Perhaps I add water and the other parts bloom?I was planning on looking like David Hasslehof in a couple weeks (from Baywatch Days, not his current look). Now, at best I may develop stronger hands, and splinters from my sudden fixation on woodworking.
