VERY POOR QUALITY. This is made of pressed cardboard and a VERY thin layer of wood on its surface. Not worth the money paid. I would not receommend this product. It appears to be a black colored clock in the photo, but it is a rust colored brown.

I ordered this then read the negative reviews but I guess maybe it's beginner's luck because I had no trouble whatsoever in getting the clock to work. From a distance you can't tell that the clock face is decoupaged onto the round board. I didn't have to reset the hands and you shouldn't have to if you are careful while moving the hands to set the time. Even if the hands or clock don't work you can use a half off coupon to purchase a new clock works/hands for under $5. I've had the clock for just an hour but so far I am happy and love it. And this clock doesn't make any noise at all. I just love it.

As long as you are buying it for looks and not quality, it's OK. Cheap mechanism, attached to a piece of particle board (think: one step above cardboard) with the clock face printed on it. It is quiet, but not silent as they suggest.

Terrible quality. Could not get the batteries in. The spacing was too tight. The hands in the clock are flimsy. I returned it with no problems to Amazon. The pictures exaggerate what it looks like. Don't waste your time trying this one.

Got this clock to replace a kitchen clock that was broken. I absolutely LOVE this clock, and it looks awesome in my kitchen.

Super cheap! Made of one small piece of hard cardboard!
