Works GREAT!!!
I just recently upgraded my cell phone to the Galaxy Nexus, and - since Verizon STILL doesn't seem to have a decent car dock out - went looking for something. Since I was already looking for this type of product, I decided to also look for a universal mount and get a longer life - after all, docks made specifically for a particular phone have to be changed out when you get a new phone, right? Why spend an extra $20-40 every time for something like this?I REALLY REALLY like this product! It fits my Nexus, although I will say that this phone is just about at the upper limit to what this dock will hold securely. I'm suctioning it to the base plate of my old dock that is already on my dash (instead of the window - I get better placement [for me] that way), and have twiddled and twisted it into a configuration that's convenient to me.The adjustable stem is VERY sturdy - a wee bit difficult to move and twist, but I think that's a plus for long-term durability. I discovered that the loopy look in the product picture works best, since if you have a snakey, extended positioning, car vibration makes things a little shaky. I have had NO problems with the suction cup popping off, but then I'm not suctioning it to the window. Perhaps others who have had this problem - or who are worried about it - will consider getting a suction cup base to put on their dashboard. One itty-bitty ding is that the frame for the cellphone, while twist-adjustable, is not "infinitely" adjustable. It clicks around 360-degrees with about 8 positions. It's minor, but you will have to do some small tweaks to get the *exact* horizontal/vertical alignment coordination between the super-adjustable stem and the not-as-adjustable frame. Again, this is an EXTREMELY minor complaint, and mainly due to my (non-clinical) OCD preference for everything to be "exactly so" LOLI can't comment on the vent mounting system, since I'm not using it.So, TLDR Version: works great with my GNexus, love it, and foresee many years of use out of it!

Great Product! Works Better Than I Expected.
EDIT: UPDATED comments, as of June 30, 2015: I've now had this phone mount for four years and it's working as good as it was on the day I bought it. So if anyone has questions about how well it will hold up, it's solid. The suction cup is still perfect, and the long, flexible arm hasn't weakened at all.I've gotten three different friends to order it and they are all happy with it as well.Original review follows...I've been looking for a way to keep my iPhone handy in my cars for a long time. I've tried holders that clip onto the car's vents, dashboard, and windshield and found them all lacking or useless. I took a chance on the Kensington because of positive reviews. I noted the extremely long boom arm and knew that if it worked as advertised, it would be perfect for my Ford Edge (they have extremely deep windshields).Price was a factor, too, after feeling burned from so many other purchases of holders that didn't work out. At under $20, this is a good deal.I've been using the Kensington for over a month and it is perfect. It sticks to the windshield like it will never come off, although it does have a quick release mechanism for the actual suction cup, so it will come off easily when I want it to. Also, the holder itself is very well made, will fit probably any phone you can think of, and keeps all the buttons available to use. The grip of the holder adjust automatically when you squeeze it to your phone, and there is a button in the back that quick-releases the phone for easy removal. The holder can be moved to any position, swiveling and swinging into whatever angle you need. The boom arm is absolutely the perfect blend of rock-solid, and bendable. It really will bend into the shape in the photo, and will also work sticking straight out. I have no regrets buying this item. It turned out to be the thing I've needed all along. Kensington put a lot of thought and good engineering into this. Total win!

iPhone 11 Pro Max (2019) fits & Kensington products are high quality
I just got this today and haven’t completely used it, but wanted to comment that it DOES fit the iPhone 11 Pro Max perfectly. The bottom piece that flips down also seems to be big enough to still hold the bottom of the phone with a popsocket on it. Also, for people that have the older version, I’m happy to report that the arm is exactly the same! That means I just popped the old holder off of the arm and put the new holder on. Now I have a brand new arm for back up or I can give it to someone who uses a smaller phone. Since I just got this today, I can’t speak about the quality, but I have had my older model for a realllllly long time. Maybe over 10 years? I think it’s the only mount I’ve ever had and I’m pretty sure I bought it at the Apple store when the original iPhone came out in 2007. That’s why I purposely bought another Kensington mount - they are (or at least were) very, very well made and reliable. I would have one request for Kensington for the next time they revise this model: please find a way to better allow for popsockets. Most people use those now. It’s fine with this model, but if there was a circular cut out the popsocket could sit in so the back of the phone was properly seated against the back of the mount, that would make an already great product even better! I do slightly worry that the popsocket will reduce the mount’s grip. Although if it does, I’d likely give up the popsocket instead of giving up the Kensington mount. Just a thought for the next version though!

Works as advertised. Would recommend. Good value.

easy to use
Simple, easy to use, good hardware. Bounces a fair bit while in motion, but the arm is pretty stiff.

perfect
I use the connection to the air vent and is perfect for my needs; The soft grips lock the iPhone in place and the quick release button on the back snaps open instantly. The window mount is equally secure but after using it I found I don't really need it because the air vent one is just as good. Now we need to get someone to bring out an iPod cable with a rough side so you can tell which way is up.

Glad I did
yep...looked at loads on Amazon basically all the same BUT, read the reviews and I thought give this a go!. Glad I did, yes it does bounce about a bit what wouldn't on uk crap roads but it holds the fone very well and it STICKS LIKE S**T to the windscreen. I might add a pad to stop it, rest it on dash perhaps. Yea for under a tenner you can't go wrong with this, it really is well made and the bendy arm thing is very strong, once in the desired position it is staying there!! A novel aspect is the quick release button on back, press it and the arms slide out and bingo fone is good to go!! - buying another NOW!

High Quality Windshield Mount
I purchased this mount in order to have a place to put my iphone while driving. The mount itself is constructed of high quality plastic materials which gives it the appearance of durability. The suction cup works well and seems to hold my iphone in place while driving over bumpy terrain. The holder itself includes adjustable arms surrounded by padding which hold the phone in place without leaving any marks or scratches. The arm that attaches to the windshield is highly adjustable but is slightly too long. This is good for vehicles with a deep dashboard but it causes the unit to be a bit wobbly. The included vent mounts did not fit the vents on my car but I had no intention to use them in the first place. Overall, this is a good smartphone windshield mount that is definitely better built than some of the cheap flimsy ones found at discount retailers.
