Light, thin, handsome, and quick for an affordable price.
Long-time computer geek here. Bought this to replace a failing MSI Gaming laptop, although I'm not a gamer. If I were, I would have gotten the more powerful graphics card version of this system, but it's quite a bit more expensive which kept me from getting it just because. Decided to get the 32GB version to make sure I have more than enough memory for anything I want to do. These days, 16GB gets used up pretty quickly, and I like to keep 8-10 apps open all the time. Haven't had any performance problems at all and have loaded the full MS Office, printer app, audio and video editing software, business bookkeeping and investing apps on. I also keep a couple of dozen tabs open in Firefox. MS Office 365 comes "preloaded", but I hate the cloud, so had to do some messing around to get the desktop versions installed and not requiring login to the MS cloud. Google searches came to the rescue on that non-trivial task. It required Registry changes. The Dell assistant is pretty annoying but I've more or less turned it off. It comes loaded with a free trial of McAfee Antivirus stuff, which I also hate because it's a huge CPU hog. Shortly before the 30-day trial expired, I deleted it and got Norton which seems to be doing its job as well as staying out of the way. Also got Edge to shut up, mostly. Not a fan of that either. Have done some video streaming and had absolutely no glitches. The DVD player works fine, although it spins for no apparent reason occasionally when I'm not even watching the video. The included DVD player software requires registration, which means even more spam email, but the software works well enough for my needs. I don't much need it to do anything but load, play, and stop/pause, so YMMV. Have noticed that the touchpad/mouse can be a little temperamental if I'm hovering both thumbs over it. Sometimes, I have to beat on it to work, but haven't pursued that issue yet. Overall, very functional, sleek, and surely fast enough for anything but really intense calculations like BTC mining or say, weather modelling, LOL! I'm very pleased with it, and hope it lasts for several years. BTW, I was considering the similar feature/function HP, but decided on this one. Don't quite remember why now, but there was a deal-breaker with the HP.

Buyer Beware.
My unit arrived saying "hard drive not found" on power up. After power cycling it did boot into Windows, but would frequently die, again saying the hard drive was gone. I spent about 3 weeks working with Dell to try to get it working reliably, but eventually, due to discrepancies between what I bought and what Dell had built, it was determined that the laptop had unauthorized modifications and thus the warrantee was voided. Because it was unusable, and unfixable (by Dell), I had no choice but to return it. On return I got another surprise -- a $294.14 restocking fee. Buying this Dell laptop from Amazon turned out to be costly mistake.

Low Price for a Great Laptop
I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing this to make sure there were no unforeseen issues as sometimes occurs with computers. Not only is it super-light, it has the power to play World of Warcraft on the highest settings and still gives me 60 FPS consistently. I haven't had a Dell in a while, but I got my daughter a Dell a year ago and she loves it, so I decided to get one for myself. All in all, there really isn't anything negative to say about it except that I wish it had a lighted keyboard.

Not top of Dell's line but a workhorse laptop
Took almost 2 hours to get rid of the pre-installed S mode which only allows Microsoft software, unacceptable, now about to use Chrome, download driver and attach scanner, etc. Do miss the touch screen of my recent sudden-death laptop. Glad to receive it a day ahead of schedule arrival too.If not seeking status in a laptop. this one is a fast, hardworking model.

Worth the price
Light weight took awhile to get use to coming from a desktop. Had to get the new Microsoft 10 decided on this laptop. I like that it has 3 USB ports and a DVD/cd drive. Keyboard is sensitive.
