Arctix Women's River Rain Jacket

Nice quality jacket. Bargain price. Bought for my wife to use when we go hiking. Not sure which size so I bought a medium and a large. For the review she gave her info: 5’2”, 125lb. 36DD. She said the medium would fit for summer, but would probably be uncomfortable if it was cold and she was wearing layers for warmth. Gotta love her. I have for 29 years.

Wore it in a tornado/downpour situation here a few weeks. Had to dig out a ditch to keep the water from running in our clinic's door. I was soaked from head to toe except where the jacket was! I was sweaty from digging but the rain did not penetrate the jacket so i do believe it is indeed waterproof.Only con is that it is not long enough for me. I have kind of a longer torso so i probably shoud've ordered a size up. Although it did fit great in arm length. I am tall so I get stuck between something being to short with good arm length or vice versa.

Two things: Size and Comfort.*Size: I read a bunch of reviews on this- I went with my normal size L an read it might be a little big “perfect for warmer sweatshirt underneath”- and yes it’s definitely a bit big on me and ya it will be good with another layer underneath so that is fine BUT I didn't think it would be as loose as it is being a bit bigger. Without a layer underneath it just feels too big and baggy.*Comfort: My biggest issue is the mesh lining on the inside. It’s very staticky and uncomfortable with a t-shirt on. I wanted a light weight rain jacket for the warmer days so obviously I’d be wearing a t- shirt or tank but not sure this will be my go to rain jacket.*Overall its just ok. I wanted to like it more because the price is great and color is great but eh not loving it. It will end up being a backup rain jacket or strictly stay in hiking bag or car jacket.

So far only a review regarding fit. Will update after use.Jacket is great quality. Sleeves are rather long and torso is super short. I bought a M and an XL, and they are the same length. Definitely not for people with a long torso. I got them on a great sale, so I really can't complain about the value. If I would have paid full price, I would return simply because of the length. We are using for a vacation to rainforest, and quality wise I believe they will serve their purpose.

I’m a little worried that the zipper won’t hold up to the salt water, but we’ll see. I definitely could have gone with a medium but I like it to be a little larger for better mobility on the boat. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and it’s very comfortable. Keeps me dry but also it’s lightweight and breathes easy. I love all of the cinch bands around the wrists, waist, and head - very helpful on the windy rainy days.

I love the color and it suits the purpose. I wanted to be able to walk my neighborhood in dreary and rainy weather. It's warm enough although not made for warmth.My only complaint is it seems the sleeves are longer than they need to be. Im glad they have the velcro so I can tighten them or they would slip all the way down over my hands.

Great value. Bought this for my daughter, she loves it and it sheds rain really nicely. Great choice.

Great price, love the color. Kept me nice and warm from the wind during an extra windy (Florida) winter kids' soccer game. I bought a large and it's roomy - I'm more concerned about comfort than how "flattering" the fit is for a jacket. Pockets held my large ish cell phone securely.

Buena chamarra, pedí talla mediana a pesar de los comentarios sobre la holgura, me quedó un poco grande pero si la vas a usar como 3 capa queda perfecta. La utilicé en un día de montaña que se nubló y hacia aire frío, solamente llevaba una polar abajo y cuando hicimos parada para comer me la puse y mi sorpresa fue grata ya que no tuve frío. Sin embargo hace un día la utilicé en otro día de montaña sin polar abajo porque no hacía tanto frío pero en esta ocasión fue mientras estaba en movimiento y cuando me la quité porque me comenzó a dar calor playera estaba muy mojada (aunque es transpirable) por lo que me da la impresión que no es muy transpirable. Sin embargo es funcional y sobre todo para el precio que tiene.El el color fue un plus (compré la verde esmeralda) ya que hace un contraste muy bonito con colores como el lila y el negro.

Nice jacket its a relaxed fit so by normal size or size down. I am normally a S/M, I unfortunately purchased a large (thinking I needed the room for a micro fleece when needed) so I am pretty much swimming in this jacket even with the micro fleece under, cinching the bands help a little.

Me gustó, pero es demasiado grande. Si vas a llevar prendas gruesas debajo pide tu talla. De lo contrario pide una menor. Está muy grande.La cambié por una talla menos y queda preciosa. La recomiendo 100%

Très satisfaite. Imperméable de bonne qualité qui garde bien au chaud et au sec. Excellente alternative aux imperméables à 100$ chez Sports Experts...

Está bien el diseño, aún no lo llevo a la montaña, pero se ve bien.Compré XS ( normalmente suelo comprar XS) me quedó un poco grande, pero era la talla más chica. (peso 48 Kg con 1.52cm) Entonces está bien. Falta probarlo cuando haga aire en una montaña. Aunque no es un material caliente, sí te protege del viento. Está bien!
