If you want cellular get the model with the cellular card.
Bought a new house and the old owner had one of these installed in the house, but disabled it to run a different system. Installation and programming was very simple, as soon as I found the manual online. I'm a Master Electrician so no biggie. Only option I wish it had was WiFi and the option to call my phone and alert me of what was going on. A video option for WiFi to your phone would be nice also. I'm retired so I really don't get out as much as I use to and paying for a monitoring service is not worth the money.

Good unit but old firmware level.
Unit was very good, the only problem was that the firmware was about a year old. I had hoped that this being the newer version would have been updated before selling. I had to by a transfer cable and download the firmware and flash it. It was 2 levels behind the key pad I ordered. They couldn't communicate unless they were on the same level. As a caution, the firmware cable is not a dumb cable. It contains active electronics. I had read some posts about people wanting to make their own cable from an old usb. Do not try. The cable is too cheap to risk damaging the unit. I would have rated it 5 stars had the firmware been updated prior to purchase. In hind site, I wish I had purchased all the parts from alarm.com directly, they would have updated and preprogrammed them into the system. I don't think I saved a lot of money or time by purchasing the separate parts from amazon.

Amazing alarm hub, especially at such an affordable price
I absolutely love this alarm panel. Having had countless alarm systems professionally installed over the years, I'm amazed that something this capable and this full-featured can be had for so little money.Installation went without a hitch. The process of adding sensors to the system is quick and intuitive. The voice feedback from the unit is crystal clear, and the central monitoring through Alarm.com is likewise feature laden and intuitive.Highly recommend.

Great reliable product
The 2gig panel arrived today as expected. It is being used as part of a severe weather notification system for smart homes and I won't have any results until there is some severe weather but I expect no issues as I have been testing these components for more than a year. Thank you for your concern and interest.

What a piece of junk. Touce screen is 60% accurate. Very frustrating to work with. It is difficult to pair z-wave and other devices. Erratic behavior.Power connectors on board are horrible. Mine broke the second time I needed to connect. I really wish I hadn't purchased this train wreck of a device.

Worked great to swap out with a broken unit
Work great. Was easy to swap out an older unit that was fired in a lighting storm.
